Avelyn was still on her stomach as the cell phone she had placed on the nightstand near her bed kept ringing. Twenty-three minutes later Avelyn arrived at Lean's office in a mess. What a mess she is this afternoon because she has to go up to Lean's office using the stairs. She should be able to arrive in exactly twenty minutes as she promised him. But because the elevator was too full, and she was in a hurry, she was forced to do the foolish thing by walking up seven floors using stairs. And because of all that mess, Avelyn looks pretty messy from head to toe. Her fine hair started to sweat and get greasy. Her forehead was covered with beads of sweat so profusely that it ran down the side of her face. And when she arrived at the seventh floor she was panting for breath. "Have you arrived?" Letha is sorting out shampoo and detergent in minimarket. Since moving to LA, this is the first time Letha take Hill to shop at the convenience store near her apartment. So far, Letha prefers to shop alone than with Hill because that kid will definitely mess up. As happened today. When she was busy sorting things out, Hill was busy running around showing the items he wanted to put in the cart. Avelyn glared at Lean who was doing a deal with the motel clerk. Anxiously, she stuffed her hands into her trousers pockets, then looked at the motel clerk who happened to be a woman with glasses with a fierce gaze. "This is all that's left, you can't force your will, Ave." "Let's find another motel!" said Avelyn stubbornly. "The next motel is seven miles from here." Quick as lightning Avelyn cast a glare at the woman which implied that she wasn't asking her to speak, so why was she talking. Feeling stared at her very fiercely, the woman became afraid and immediately busied herself with the guest book which she tried to flip through to fill the void of time. "Did you hear that? Lean smiled faintly as he felt Avelyn's body next to him. That naive woman was not as tough as he thought. Still she will give in to her ego and decide to sleep next to him because that woman must be just as tired as himself. But it was funny to think of Avelyn who was now next to him. Did he ever think he would do this with Avelyn when Michael was around? Of course the answer is no! In fact he never bothered to deal with the fierce Avelyn. Slowly Lean moved closer to Avelyn, eroding the distance between them and removing Avelyn's ridiculous barrier. Think about barrier like that is only made for toddlers, not grown men with a passionate desire to touch women. Silly woman. In an instant Lean was very close to Avelyn. It was only an hour later that Avelyn woke up from her uncomfortable sleep because she was sleeping on her stomach. The remaining tears that had been dripping on the white sheet on her bed, now looked dry and there was nothing left there from her tears. It's just that Avelyn's eyes now look swollen like the eyes of a gloomy monster. In solitude she embraced her own body miserably. Lean who came out earlier didn't seem to have returned. After spending a night without arguing because Lean was cooperative with Avelyn's rules, the next morning they were able to continue the journey with a brighter heart. All the way to Phoenix, Avelyn looks more alive as she continues to sing loudly to the song playing loudly from the high-tech radio in an expensive Lean’s car.
