Adorned in ancient greek armour, hundreds of palace guards lined the stadium sized hall on each side.Zeus had fallen silent as Will leads us along the side of the great hall. I look past my shoulder at the humongous door of cold metal with the width of two buses and height of pine which opens without a creek to let a single soul enter at a time.Each time it opens my eyes strain to focus on the tens of thousands gathered at its entrance. A woman in her late twenties steps through the door and am shocked by her appearance. Dressed in a simple off-white dress, her body was transparent in a manner that one could make out her features while still seeing through.After taking notice of my dazed eyes Will took it to himself to lead me. A few seconds later he tugged at my hand while I stood rooted in spot with my mouth agape.Suddenly the door, the delarted and the guards were no longer an domineering presence.Cold, hard glacial stairs lead up to the Golden throne of the Underworld. My consciousness hits the moment there's no longer a bed to roll over. I find myself shrinking under those amber eyes which settled upon mine after a brief inspection of his beloved garden."I am not responsible." I blurt out feeling oddly guilty. Without sparing any of us a glance Hades takes his seat at the head.And soon the large room is flooded with butlers and maids who deliver us enough food to feed twenty or so.When they scurry back out I take my seat but not without jabbing Zeus's thigh under the table with the fork I had not surrendered. For a while I searched for the proper position for placing my weapons and during that time I noticed that it wasn't only me who keenly observed Hades for a sign of a reaction. But all we got was nothing. And when I finally figured out where to place them one went crooked and the other fell right off the table, a little too far from where I sat.It was as it the forks had grown wings, nasty naughty wings.So once again I got off from my high chair to pick it up.
