Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

In the secluded and dense lands of the Palmora family. Our home was the only house perched in the middle of the rising and falling grass and trees in the forest. So inevitably there are many wild animals I can pass by. It is not difficult when I pass by in the morning. Because I will immediately see the wild animals. But at night, I carry a lamp to use to illuminate the path.

It was late afternoon when I decided to go home. I was walking by the river earlier in the neighboring town. Then Harris also had a large coconut grove. There is a small hut. I guess just a rest house maybe.

"Why are you just now, Dralia, where are you passing again? The forest is still dangerous when it's a time like this." Nanang talks to me.

"Calm down, the important thing is that I got home safely, right?" I explain. Nanang immediately put a towel on my back. And pulverized as well. So I feel fresh again in the body.

So I can't force myself to ask Nanang, because I can feel her taking care of me. I will just wait for the day when she will tell me the truth, all about me.

I would have turned on the television when Nanang took the remote control.

"Oops! Monday tomorrow, Dralia. You need to go to bed early. It's still hard for you to wake up as a child." She said.

"Nanang, I’m not yet sleepy," I muttered.

"Don't let using that words 'Nanang-nanang', here, Dralia, you have a school tomorrow." There is a finality in Nanang's voice.

So I did not insist anymore. Then stood up and hugged Nanang, and went up to my room.

I went back outside when I remembered that Nanang was also at work at the Palmora Mansion.

"Nanang," But Nanang is no longer in the living room. "Nanang?" I keep calling.

The lights are off. Only the moonlight served as light throughout the house.

"Maybe she's already in her room." So I went to Nanang's room and opened it.

"Nanang?" I call poorly.

But Nanang is still not in her room.

"Where is Nanang?" I asked myself.

I went back to the living room.

"Why are you here?" The slightly amplified familiar voice suddenly subsided.

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from us? You are not like before, you are different from us. So, please... If you still have a love for her. You will keep her away from any kinds of troubles." Continued speaking in a familiar voice.

That voice comes from the door. So instead of going directly there I was behind the door and looking for an opening to find access to see the face of the voice owner. When I hit a small hole I brought one eye there. And I realized that the voice I heard earlier came from Nanang.

But I still tried to touch the face of Nanang's interlocutor but I could not see. I only saw Nanang's face because of the location of the hole in my seat.

The conversation between Nanang and the person Nanang talked to, that I could not see the face continued.

"Get out!" Nanang's face shows a lot of frustration and it seems like there is something I really can't explain.

"Why are you sending me away, Antopina, I just want to see her. I miss her, Pina. I hope at least a glance, it's okay with me.”

The voice of the woman Nanang was talking to was weak. I don't know why Nanang pushed the woman so much.

"Just wait until next month! Coming soon!" Nanang shouted but was too controlled so that she might not make any noise.

"Okay. I won't force, Pina, anymore, but that's also one of the reasons why I'm here now." In the woman's voice, there was a hint of concern.

"Beware of the people around you. Avoid those people you do not know!" The woman suggested. So Nanang's eyes suddenly widened.

"What do you mean by that, Del?" Nanang asked. 'Del? Del is the girl's name? Why does it look like a male name? I whispered in my mind.

"Pina, Bladimr is already in action. And I'm afraid that demonic family will lead her!" There is a sour trace in the voice of a woman named Del.

"Who? The Bladimr Families. How? Didn't you say that you did it that way? Why are they looking at?" there was a surprise on Nanang's face.

I moved a little when the marble I played earlier here fell on the table. Aish!

"What is that? Go now, Del! Go!" Nanang shouted still in control.

"Take care of her, Pina! Watch over her! I'll take care of the Bladimr Family!" and suddenly the surroundings became quiet. I did not understand much what the woman said. And I thought of a way as if nothing had happened.

I stood up and rolled my eyes and approached the door where Nanang was.

"N-Nanang? Why are you here? Are you talking to someone?" I acted.

Nanang was a little surprised to see me here in front of her. "E-Earlier are you still there?" Nanang asked me curiously.

I thought of an answer to Nanang.

"Just now, Nang, why?" I said. As if drowsy.

I stretched and rolled my eyes.

"I'm just looking for you, I'm just going to say that I'm going to Palmora mansion tomorrow, Nang, when I get back from school."

We lost the topic we talked about earlier. It's good too.

"A-Ah, yeah, sure-sure!" Nanang closed the door and guided me to the door of my room.

"Go to bed early, tomorrow we will go there." I nodded and entered.

But, by the way. Who is that woman named, Del? Is she related to Nanang Antopina? Aish.

I did let my eyes force to close and wait for my body to cooperate and fell asleep until I decided to count every sheep who passed by on my head as if I am counting stars countless. Until I did not notice that it is past midnight. I stretched my hands and feel myself, breathed in and out, relaxing my body, closing my eyes, and wait for me to fell asleep.
