LOGINThird person POV
Isaac stood before the gathered reporters, his face pale and strained as cameras flashed around him. “My wife is inside this hotel with Nicholas Foster” he said, his voice trembling with what appeared to be hurt. The reporters exchanged startled looks. “I’m telling you the truth” he continued, swallowing hard. “Come with me and see for yourselves” He turned and hurried toward the hotel entrance with the media following closely behind. When they reached the room, Isaac pulled the door open quickly. He rushed inside, ready to give a show, but the room was empty. His expression froze instantly. With a panicked face, he ran further inside, his eyes darting around the room. His breathing became heavier as he realized the two are no longer there. The reporters followed after him. ‘Where are they. Mr. Jacob?” they asked impatiently. Isaac didn’t answer. He searched frantically, like the two would appear from the walls. His face drained of color after he had checked under the bed and toss the blanket down. ‘They were supposed to be here” he muttered. The reporters crowded him. “Are you saying your wife was here?” “Then where is she?” Isaac was speechless. “Mr. Jacob, are you trying to frame your own wife?” His face twisted with panic at the question. ‘No, that’s not true” he yelled. One of the reporters stepped forward. “An article just came up. It proved that you tried to sell your wife out. Are you denying the allegations?” he asked. Isaac’s eyes widened. “Is this just another scheme to get back on top after being kicked out of your company?” they fired again. He looked at the reporters, his eyes darted from one camera to others. He parted his lips, but no words came out. Rather, his face burned with humiliation. ‘That wasn’t what happened…” his voice cracked. No one was listening. The cameras kept flashing and the questions continued to rain down on him. Isaac’s shoulders sank, and he turned suddenly, desperate to escape. But reporters blocked his path. He tried to push through but ended up on the floor instead, looking completely helpless. - Lola’s POV The moment the door closed behind us, the room fell into a heavy silence. Nicholas sat across from me, his jaw clenched and his breathing uneven. I could feel the heat burning beneath my skin, making it harder to think with every passing second. Before I could stop myself, I rose from the couch and crossed the distance between us. I threw my arms around his neck and climbed on his lap. His assistant instantly turned away with an awkward cough but I didn’t care. Nicholas’s eyes widened up to me. “What are you doing?” he asked, catching my wrists. I stared at him through the haze clouding my mind. “Isn’t this what you wanted?” I whispered. I leaned closer to kiss him, but he turned his face away and pushed me back. “No” The word came out sharp, and it made me frown hard. He stood up immediately, putting distance between us. I glanced up at him wondering what he was doing. “I only waned to prove how much of an asshole your husband is” he said, his voice rough with anger. “I would never stoop to this level to sleep with a woman” I stared at him, my heart seemed to be doing some funny work. I quickly turn away before I let myself fall into something I shouldn’t. “Get the doctor” Nicholas turned to his assistant who nodded quickly. “He’s on his way” The heat inside me only grew worse. I pressed a trembling hard against my forehead, I can’t endure this anymore. “If you can’t help me” I muttered with a hiss. “How about your assistant?” I threw knowing damn well it would infuriate him. He snapped his head toward me, something dangerous flashed in his eyes. He moved before I could blink and lifted me into his arms. I clutched at his neck, wondering what he was up to, and he carried me straight toward the bathroom. “What are you…?” I tried to ask as he set me down, but before I could complete the sentence, he switch on the shower head and cold water hit both of us, harshly. I gasped at once, my eyes widened. “Nick!” I called him in trembling voices. I tried to move away, but he grabbed me by my shoulders and pinned me to the wall. My breaths become shaky and I was forced to clutched to his shirt, shivering. “Switch if off” I protested, hitting him. He grabbed my wrist. “Stay still. I’m trying to help” he said in a low voice. But in that moment, it felt like he was adding more fuel to the fire already burning in me. This was no remedy to help. “Relax” he murmured against his lips, more to himself than to me. As I stopped fighting, I let my body relax under the water. I exhale slowly, trying to stay focused. But Nicholas was also wet in front of me. I was gripping against his chest, and his lips were just inches apart. How could I relax? I told myself not to, but I lifted my head, slowly to look into his eyes. His gaze met mine almost instantly, like our hearts was trying to communicate, to seek solitude within. And then, in one reckless, desperate move, we both grabbed each other’s lips in a hungry, breathless kiss. My hands tightened fast against his shirt and I pulled him closer. Our tongues moved in sequence like a rhythm, and at the same time, we both torn off our clothes and let our hands feel each other.Lola’s POVA wave of silence swept through the enormous arena as the lights dimmed and the announcer called the next designer. My name echoed across the world best stage. For a second, I simply stood behind the curtail, my heart beat hard against my ribs. The music began, and the first model stepped onto the runway. One after another, my designs filled the runway, and I stared carefully at the audience who watched in complete silence. The cameras clicked endlessly, I inhaled telling myself that was a good sign. When the final music note changed, the curtains parted again. This time, I walked out. The last piece was mine to show off. The gown hugged my body before flaring dramatically from the thighs down. It was a deep wine-red dress, covered in delicate bead-work that shimmered like scattered stars. The off-shoulder neckline framed my collarbones, while the long flowing train followed behind me.This was my reborn dress, a new me. I stopped at the center of the runway, the lig

Lola’s POVTogether, we walked into the private suite. I had my hair packed up in a knot-twist bun. My lipstick was lightly applied and my purse was held firmly by her side. I already have Anabel on the stand by to call the police in case anything happens that I couldn’t control. We entered the room and waited for the guest to arrive. While waiting, Isaac offered me a drink and I pretended to take a sip while he watched. After a moment, the door opened again and I lifted my head to see who the important guest was, expecting some old perverted man, but instead Nicholas Foster was standing there. I couldn’t hide my shock, my eyes widened and frowned at the same time. I clenched my jaw as I glared at him. What on earth is he doing here? Before I could understand, Isaac stood up. “Mr. Foster, I’ve brought my wife to you like you asked” he said.My eyes flashed to him. That scumbag.I was too infuriated. Lola’s POV“She’s going to rot in jail” Peter Goldman spat to the media who were clamoring in front of him. He was pushed inside the house after and I waited for him until he got to my side. Together, we both gazed at the television, watching Regina who had just being arrested as she tried to escape the country. Peter turned to me. “Thank you for saving my life” he said with gratitude heavy in his eyes. A smile formed on my face slowly. “We were both victims of bad spouses. It’s the least I could do”After watching the video, I had contacted him to inform him about the poison. Knowing Regina, it wasn’t a poison that would kill at once. It would be something slow to end Peter’s life so she could take his wealth after playing the dutiful wife for a while. “I owe you a big favor.” Peter said. “Tell me whatever you want, I will make it happen”I shook my head. Not now, but very soon. “Why don’t you take care of your health first?” I told him, and with a little nod, I walked out of t

Lola’s POVI booked a table at the restaurant for some team bonding. After a moment, Whitney stood up and went to the bathroom. I waited for a moment before I stood up and also went into the bathroom. I pushed the door open and stepped inside. Whitney was standing in front of the mirror, carefully applying a fresh coat of lipstick. The moment our eyes met through the reflection, she froze, the lipstick trembled slightly in her hand. For a second, neither of us spoke. I closed the door the door behind me and walked toward her slowly, my heels clicking softly against the marble floor. A smile curved my lips, she lowered the lipstick, swallowing nervously. I stopped beside her and gently took the lipstick from her fingers. “It’s uneven” I said calmly.I turned her slightly toward the mirror end and with deliberate slowness, I applied the lipstick to her lips. The color spread smoothly and bold against her young face. “There” I murmured. “Much better”Whitney’s breathing became sh
