02.

Sierra left the bubbly atmosphere in the room where music was being played and everyone was enjoying the party. She stood outside in the patio, away from everyone.

She was so pissed.

"What do they take me for? I already have to marry him against my wish." She complained, "Why do I need to live with him?"

She was really angry that such a suggestion was made. Probably it was because she didn't want to lose control over her decisions. Having accepted her father's offer to marry Zeke, she already lost control over her marriage.

She couldn't afford been led by the nose like that. So she thought of excuses why she couldn't move in with him..

She leaned on the patio and contemplated. Her exams were in two weeks time. And she would have to travel to London to take them. She just had to lie to dad and prolong her stay.

She stayed outside for some time, staring at the beautiful garden..

After she had enough, she walked back into the hall. Everyone seemed to be having a great time.

She looked around for Zeke to tell him she couldn't move in with him due to her exams. And, she needed him to help in persuading their parents.

As expected, she saw him among a group of girls, flirting. He was totally a ladies man.

She walked up to him. He looked up when she stood in front of him. He seemed surprised for a moment. But, he seemed to relax afterward.

Sierra's lips tightened and she said pointedly,

"Hmm. Sorry. I can't move in with you. I have some exams to write at London. So, I have to travel out this week."

Zeke looked at her quietly for sometime. At some point, she thought he was about to say no.

But when he later spoke, he said,

"Oh. It's no worries, wifey."

Then, he reached out to grab her hand.

The name made her heart skip a beat.

Sierra glared at him.

"What did you just call me?"she asked in a threatening voice.

"I called you wifey. Any problem?"he asked with a teasing smile on his face as he picked up his wine glass and casually sipped the drink.

"Well, don't call me that," Sierra snapped. "We are not married yet. Don't get your hopes up."

She was especially straightforward and direct with her words and without a care whether he would lose face or not.

Her words seemed to have also stricken a chord in Zeke's heart too.

For he stood up and looked at her. His gaze was devoid of the warmth they usually had. His expression was also cold and unfeeling.

He was taller than her. And, when he stood up abruptly like that with such a cold expression on his face, Sierra was quite intimidated.

He was usually cheerful and full of jokes. He flirted all day around and Sierra had never seen him serious. Sometimes, she even wondered if he was truly the son of a don.

His mannerisms didn't seem like it.

Zeke's tall figure towered over her as he replied, "Sierra stop being so difficult. Our parents arranged this and not me. Trust me, I don't think you are anything special. But, I promised my dad to get married."

"And, that's why I'm here. So stop acting like an immature brat and face reality."

Afterwards, he walked off with his left hand in his pocket. He seemed very displeased.

Sierra stood there dumbfounded. The girls who were around him also quickly dispersed as they were surprised to see him get angry and didn't want to bear the brunt of his displeasure.

It was the first time Sierra had also seem him snap at someone like that. He always seemed patient and cozy with everyone.

She breathed heavily and tried to take her mind off the impending marriage hanging on her head. She walked around the hall to greet their guests.

And when she was done, she decided to change her clothes for the banquet after the party. She was already uncomfortable with what she was putting on.

She went to her room to change her clothes. And as soon as she entered, she slammed the door behind her.

"What a day. So stressful." She murmured as she yawned.

She decided to have a cold bath to soothe her tired muscles. So, she pulled off her clothes leaving her panties and bra.

Then, she walked into the bathroom. She pulled a bathrobe from the ones hanging on the stand. And while she did so, she noticed that one of them was missing. It was a black colored robe she had not used before.

She pursed her lips. But, didn't think too much.

She proceeded to enter the main part of the bathroom. Just as she was about to enter the shower room, she heard some noises coming from the shower.

It seemed the shower was turned on.

Sierra's brows creased tightly.

Then, she muttered, "Did those maids leave the shower on?"

She pulled the door knob, only to see the naked figure of a man In her shower.

"You..." she exclaimed, staring at him dumbfounded.

When she finally regained her senses, she snapped, "What the hell are you doing here?"

"Well, I wanted to take a shower before I get changed." He replied.

"And I decided to use your shower. Is that a problem?" he continued as he rubbed on the shower gel, not minding her presence..

But, she did mind.

After all, a tall, hot and sexy man was standing naked in her shower. She wasn't blind. Of course, she could see. Including the part between his legs.

Which surprisingly was quite well endowed.

Sierra looked away in embarrassment. But, her expression was still as hardened as ever. She muttered, "Of course it's a problem."

She looked cross as she looked at his face. He had an awful smirk on his face.

Sierra swallowed slightly before she muttered, "Well sorry to be mean. But, get out. I need to use my shower too."

But, he seemed to have other plans.

He moved closer to her slowly and as he did, she could feel the pressure from him. The scent of his cologne also pervaded her nose.

"I think we can share." He said as he dragged her very close to him and shut the door.

"What the heck-" Sierra exclaimed.

She was unable to speak for a moment. Her body was too close to his. His wet body made shivers run down her spine. His built body and masculine figure was so attractive...

Suddenly, she snapped herself out of her day dream. Surprisingly, he didn't do anything to her. He just stood there, watching her.

"Leave me right now or I'll scream." She threatened.

Zeke smiled.

"Maybe you should. That would only make our parents think we were..." he said leaving her to complete the rest herself.

Sierra glared at him. "Well maybe screaming isn't a good idea."

"But please just leave me. Your face disgusts me."

Her words made Zeke a little upset. He was an handsome young man after all. A lot of women fawned over him.

It was the first someone called him disgusting.

He warned as he pinned her to the wall, "Now, watch it. You are going to get married to me. Whether you like it or not. Maybe you should start learning to be nice to your husband...

"So I can pity you on the bed," he whispered the last sentence into her ear, making sure she got the message.

Then, he loosened his grip and left the bathroom.

Sierra was so angry.

"Such a pain in the butt," she muttered before he went out.

Then, she locked the door behind and proceeded to take her shower.
