Chapter Two:

....Dear Lucinda will be participating. The ritual cleans younger werewolves and help those who haven't experienced what it feels to lycanthrope, to do so easily, without much pains.

Furthermore, we will like Lucinda to partake in the family's moon night, coming up on December". He finished.

Mr. Gabriel, a man of few words, wishpherd something to his wife, after the dialogue, they arrived at a verdict which corresponds to the request of the elders. The family have barely a day to gather some items they will be needing in their hometown. They have agreed to travel with Lucinda, since the stay will be a long one.

The journey from Rome to Guidecca was a long one indeed, it was a journey of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Thank God for a safe trip!

Finally, the Travellers arrived their destination. The atmosphere was welcoming, the breath was nice and old, the environment was in a rapid development. A lot had changed. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel took a sigh of relief. Their deserted bungalow house now feel lively again, but there was a huge lot of work to do. There would be arranging, cobwebbing, sweeping, weeding, moping, washing, and the likes. All hands went on deck, hoping to bring back the house to the order and neatness it was left. During the sanitation, Lucinda had a strange encounter, it was like a trance, or perhaps, a seeing. She was able to see the flashback of event that happened in the past, with just merely touching object that related to the event.

What had she seen?

Lucinda in the trance, saw a woman who she recognized as her grandma, Ma'am Beanker, but was a younger her. Her grandmom in the trance took some features of a wolf _long and sharp and claws, facial hairs which made the individual look more like what could be referred to as a 'human- wolf', this must be what a werewolf would look like, thought Lucinda. Immediately, Beanker transformed into a complete wolf alongside another older lady, there.

The supposed Lucinda's grandma in the trance waged a fight against the fellow female, who the pack of female werewolves that stood behind her proved her to be a female Alpha. The duo fought like eternity, with Beanker falling now and then, and sustaining injuries from claws and falls. Just like a fallacy coming into reality, Beanker was now on the Alpha, trying so much to separate the alpha's head from neck. After some moment of struggle, the deed was done.

Later, Beanker, who had won the game of deaths, walked majestically to the pack, giving them an intimidating looks which made the pack reverenced her. She's now the new Alpha.

For almost a minute, Lucinda was short of breath, she didn't and wouldn't want to believe what she had just seen. Infact, the ability to have seen such was to her impossible.

Was that what it takes to be an alpha?

If yes, then Lucinda was better off  remaining an Omega, till her extinction.

She had earlier learnt from a document in a box, that she was an Omega. And had known that she as Omega was the least of the pack, the document had taught her.

Lucinda will appreciate more the work of an Omega and the maltreatment from the wicked Betas or Alpha, rather than killing a fellow for a position which is temporal, she concluded speech to herself and waved off her memory the thousands of thoughts arising from the trance, and went ahead with her chores.

Soon, the works were justified, the house came back to its hygiene in

serenity. The women in the house went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, Mr. Gabriel sat on a too soft cushion in the sitting room, flipping through the pages of a magazine, while Alexander kept himself busy with a soccer computer game. Dinner was served later, around 6pm. When the family has assembled for dinner, a knock was heard, accompanied by the sound of the door bell. Mr. Gabriel got angry for such a nuisance for a behavior done by who the hell might be knocking. When his temper had cooled, he made a gesture of hand, demanding Alexander to answer the bell. Alex came back to the no curtain dinning room with an envelope glued with a wolf head sticker. The sticker had made known where the envelope must have come from. Lucinda opened the envelope, brought out a letter contained in it, and read to the hearings of all, as was ordered by her father. The letter was brief and to the point. It stated clearly that Lucinda was needed in the werewolf pack house, late tomorrow morning, by 10am, for the pack youths' training and get along, ending with " A Nice Night Rest To You, Little Wolverine". That was specific, it addressed only Lucinda.

The family ate dinner in a new quietened atmosphere, all ate while wallowing  in their thoughts. The night was spent with less dialogues, honestly, it would have been a different scenario, if matters like this have been surfacing before, but no, it was it's  first time.

Morning came with a cool breeze from the shade giving trees and flowers. The sun was pure gold and friendly, not scorching. The powerful perfume scents from the ornaments (flowers), filled the environment. The chirpings of the little fearless birds transcends into the soul of every listener. The atmosphere baffled the morning. This is rare. If life is a fairy tales, this atmosphere would actually be the best suitable for the birth of a lion Cub who is actually a promising king; Well, even in reality, One never can tell if royal Cub had been birthed to.

Truly, the atmosphere was very dear to behold.

Before 9am, things have been putted in order, in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel. Breakfast have been served and eaten, all had taken bath, and the house have been placed in right order. The day is now ready to be spent in lavish.

Mr. Gabriel has crawled into a roofless tent, made for him by his wife. The tent was made of white curtains that hung on fences composed of steel poles connected in a square shape, leaving the curtains to flow in the direction of the cool breeze. Mr. Gabriel sat in the center on a wooden chair, he had intentionally hidden himself in this sudden tent, only his feet could be seen. He hid himself in there, so that he will not see her daughter Lucinda, while going to the werewolf pack house, lest he become emotional. Lucinda left for the journey of five miles after bidding a bye to all, except her dad.

When Lucinda arrived the pack house, her eyes caught up with a red eyed  wolf, a creature she had never seen in her life. Lucinda's first sight on the animal nearly drenched life off her body. She remained fixed to the ground, until Martin, a twenty- five years old, a werewolf and a worker in the animal farm, came and took the beast for a walk, it was actually Martin's pet. Martin greeted morning to Lucinda with a smile, maintaining the distance. Lucinda saw a man from a distance waving at her, he was calling Lucinda to the pack house. Lucinda humbly followed the man's gestures. They went into a two decks building, there was a parallel arrangement of rooms / blocks on both sides leaving a.......
