Chapter 11: Lovers

In the afterglow of their lovemaking,Ethan gathered her in his arms,holding her close to his chest as the pulse of his racing heart matched her own.She held him even closer,her body feeling tender and achingly satisfied.He was well versed in the art of lovemaking,Beth wantonly thought to herself,remembering how Ethan had taken her to the heights of exquisite pleasure,more than once….

Now,she was lying naked in his arms,his hard body pressed against her in the most tender agony she had ever known.At this rate they would never sleep,not that it would be a problem.Making love with him had been an experience she could relive again and again.He knew just what to do,where to touch,to give her maximum satisfaction.

When it was over,she had pulled the sheet up,which he then unceremoniously had flung to the floor.

“I want to see you,”he’d said as his lips led a trail of fire from her neck to her breasts,his hands roaming her body,awakening her desire once more.”God,Beth..what are you doing to me?”

She had no chance to answer,his lips crushed hers and they surrendered yet again.

“What are you thinking?”he asked,interrupting her very pleasurable train of thought.”No regrets I hope?”

She looked up,placing featherlight kisses on his chest and neck before answering.

“No regrets,”she said,”none whatsoever.”

His fingers trailed her face,as if he were blind and seeing her with his touch.

 It was just after sunrise when they woke up,both satiated from their first night as lovers.Beth blushed as Ethan ran his hands up and down her body in a gentle caress,remembering how wanton she had been the previous evening.Somehow,it didn’t matter.With Ethan she could be herself with no fear of being indicted for her wants or her needs.

“Good morning,”he said,in between kisses.”Sleep well?”

Beth stretched like a cat,her body somehow feeling new and different.She felt sensual in a way she never had before.They had not slept much,instead making love until the early hours of the morning,till they fell asleep in each others arms.

“Never better,”she said.“It was quite an evening.”

“Yes it was.”he agreed,grinning like a Cheshire cat.”A very pleasurable evening indeed.”

It occurred to her that she had done something she had never done before.Slept with a man on the first date and it didn't even bother her.There was something about Ethan that set her free inside,as if her soul had been chained for a thousand years and was only now soaring at release.

“Do you have to work today?”he continued.

“I'm on night duty,”she answered,”and its not exactly my favorite thing in the world.What time do you have to be at work? “

“At 9,but I don't think anyone would mind if I were to be a little late.”

“Mr Hollingsworth,”she teased,”what could possibly make you late?”

“Oh, I suppose I will tell them the truth,that I was seduced by a beautiful temptress who wouldn't let me leave my own bed.”

“Then let the temptation begin….”she said,pulling him closer in her arms.
