Chapter Fourteen

Its been a year.

A year since Tasha and Nelson Radcliffe had been married. Nothing changed over the months. It all remained the same, the cold attitudes and the abusive words became a part of Tasha's life. At some point she grew a thick skin. She wasn't really concentrated on the dreadful things Nelson said to her, instead she was focused on getting her freedom - in a different way.

Nelson on the other hand had been doing well too. His company recently secured a deal that ranked it one of the biggest Tech companies in America. Its a great thing that the board of directors are amazed at how far Nelson had brought the company in the space of a year.

Tasha's brother, Henchard had been playing basket ball in highschool. Its a long time dream he had been pursuing. He won't stop talking about his big dream of playing at the Olympics.

Tasha met Taylor - the salesman at the mall at some point. They exchange contacts, and ever since they've been friends. They don't talk on a daily, but Tay
