Camille's POV

"Camille, are you in there?” Kieran asked, standing outside my bedroom door.

I'd been crying for the past hour, curled up on my bed with the thought of Vincent's plea. Thirty days to choose. As if any of this made sense.

"Go away," I managed and yelled a bit, but my voice broke on the words.

The door opened anyway. Kieran stepped inside and closed it behind him, he was genuinely looking concerned.

"What happened?" He crossed the room and sat on the edge of my bed. "Did Vincent finally explain the choosing stuff to you?"

"He gave me a deadline." I sat up, wiping at my cheeks. "Thirty days to choose between you and Nikolai. Like I'm shopping for a new car."

"That's not what this is." Kieran's hand found mine, his thumb stroking my knuckles. "He's just trying to help."

"By forcing me to pick which of his friends I want to sleep with?" I asked laughing bitterly. "How is that helping?"

"Because you're miserable." He shifted closer, his free hand coming up to cup my face. "You've been miserable for two years, and he can't fix it. So he's giving you permission to find happiness somewhere else."

"With you?" I looked into his eyes, searching for honesty. "Or with Nikolai? Or with both of you until I'm too confused to think straight?"

"With whoever makes you feel alive again." His thumb brushed away a fresh tear. "And right now, that's me. Isn't it?"

I didn't say a word but something about Kieran felt different than Nikolai's playful seduction.

"I don't know what I'm doing," I just answered, turning my face away, but he pulled it back..

"Then stop thinking." He leaned in, his forehead resting against mine. "Stop trying to figure everything out and just feel."

His lips found mine, gentle at first, asking rather than demanding. I kissed him back, tasting salt from my tears too.

Kieran pulled back just enough to look at me. "Tell me to stop if you don't want me to, I don't want to take advantage of you anymore."

And instead of answering, I grabbed his shirt and pulled him down on top of me.

"Camille." My name came out rough as his mouth moved to my neck. "I just need to he…

"Don't stop." I cut him off, arching into him, my hands sliding under his shirt to feel the heat of his skin. "Please don't stop."

He groaned against my throat, he pulled my clothes up and over my head, tossing it aside, and then his mouth moved to my breasts, tracing down to the sensitive skin of my stomach.

"I've thought about this so many times." He looked up at me from between my thighs, his eyes dark filled with desire. "I always thought about tasting you, and making you forget everything but my name."

Before I could respond, his mouth was on me, and coherent thought became impossible.

My back arched off the bed as pleasure was becoming overwhelming. His tongue moved with expert precision, building me higher and higher until I gasped his name.

"That's it." His voice vibrated against my sensitive flesh. "Let me hear you."

I shattered, crying out as the orgasm rolled through me in waves. But Kieran didn't stop, he kept using his fingers to finger my pussy until I was trembling and oversensitive.

Only then did he pull his three fingers back, he then started using his mouth to kiss my body, from my neck till my pussy, as he sucked it hard and pulled out.

"You're so beautiful like this." He kissed me deeply, letting me taste myself on his tongue. "Completely undone."

I fumbled with his belt, needing more. He helped me, stripping off his remaining clothes until nothing separated us. The feel of his bare skin against mine made me moan into his mouth.

"Condom," he muttered against my lips, reaching for the nightstand.

"We don't need…" I stopped, remembering we did last night without it. "Wait…"

"In my wallet." He cut me off and grabbed his pants from the floor, pulled out his wallet, and retrieved a foil packet. "I came prepared. Just in case."

I wanted to talk about last night but I just ignored it, because watching him roll the condom on quickly was making me wetter. And then he was positioning himself between my thighs.

"Look at me." His voice commanded my attention. "I want to see your face when I'm inside you."

Our eyes locked as he thrust inside, slowly at first but he kept going deeper. I gasped at the stretch, at the feeling of being filled. Kieran groaned as he fought for control.

"God, you feel perfect." He pulled out almost completely before thrusting back in with force. "Like you were made for me."

I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him deeper. He set a rhythm that had me gasping with every thrust, his mouth finding mine in a kiss that was more desperation than finesse.

This wasn't gentle lovemaking. This was dominant and rough, more like two people trying to lose themselves in sensation.

"Harder," I demanded, grabbing his arm. "Don't hold back."

He then grabbed my wrists and pinned them above my head with one hand while the other gripped my hip very hard. His thrusts became punishing, driving deep and fast, and I loved every second of it.

"Is this what you need?" His voice was rough in my ear. "To be taken hard? To forget everything except how I make you feel?"

"Yes." The word came out as a moan. "Yes, exactly that."

He released my wrists to hook my leg over his shoulder, changing the angle.

The new position had him hitting every deep spot inside that made stars explode behind my eyes. I was climbing again, faster this time, my body coiling tight.

"Come for me." His thumb found my clit, circling with just the right pressure. "I want to feel you fall apart around me."

The combination of his words, his touch, and the relentless rhythm of his hips sent me over the edge. I cum with a cry that I barely managed to muffle against his shoulder, my body clenching around him in rhythmic pulses.

"Fuck." Kieran's rhythm faltered as I tightened around him. "Camille, I'm…"

He buried himself deep one last time, his body going stiff as he found his own release. We stayed locked together, both of us breathing hard, until he finally collapsed beside me.

For a long moment, neither of us spoke. Kieran pulled me against his chest, his fingers tracing lines down my shoulder.

The post-orgasm haze made everything feel soft and distant, like the real world couldn't quite reach us yet.

"That was…" I started, but he kissed the top of my head.

"Don't." His voice was quiet. "Don't analyze it or feel guilty. Just let it be what it was."

I wanted to argue and tell him it wasn't that simple. But lying there in his arms, my body still humming with satisfaction, I couldn't find the energy to care about anything.

A soft knock on the door shattered the sweet moment.

"Camille?" Nikolai called out outside my room door. "I know Kieran's in there. And I want my turn."

Kieran's arms tightened around me protectively, but we both knew this conversation was coming.

"Not now Nikolai," Kieran said back in a warning tone.

"That's not fair. Vincent said both of us. You don't get to keep her to yourself."

I sat up, pulling the sheet around myself.

"I need to talk to him," I said quietly.

"No." Kieran's hand caught my wrist. "Not right now."

"He's right though." I looked at him, seeing the jealousy and possession in his eyes. "Vincent did say both of you. I can't just choose you and ignore him."

"You can." Kieran sat up. "What we just had, that was real. Not some competition or arrangement."

"Camille." Nikolai knocked again. "Open the door."

I stood, wrapping the sheet more securely around myself. Kieran watched me with something like betrayal in his eyes as I walked to the door, but I had to face this.

When I opened the door, Nikolai stood there with his arms crossed. His eyes traveled over my disheveled appearance, taking in the obvious signs of what had just happened, and his expression hardened.

"So that's how it is?" He looked past me to where Kieran still sat on the bed. "You got to her first, so you think you win?"

"It's not a competition," I said firmly.

"Isn't it?" Nikolai's attention came back to me. "Because it sure as hell feels like one."

Before I could respond, Kieran appeared behind me, pulling on his pants. "She made her choice, so deal with it."

"Did she?" Nikolai smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes. "Or did you just take advantage of the fact that she was crying and vulnerable?"

"Get out." Kieran said dangerously quietly.

"Make me." Nikolai responded with a smirk.

They were seconds away from coming to blows, I could feel the violence in the air between them, all because of me. All because Vincent had put us in this impossible situation.

"Both of you, stop." I stepped between them again. "This isn't solving anything."

"Then solve it right now." Nikolai said, looking at me. “Who do you choose?"

I opened my mouth, but no words came out.

  • He Gave His Wife To His Best Friends    Chapter 7: Shifting Alliances

Camille's POVI returned to the penthouse three hours later, calmer but no less confused. Vincent was out, according to the housekeeper. Perfect. I needed answers, and I wasn't above snooping to find them. His study door was unlocked, surprisingly. Vincent usually kept it secured, especially lately. I slipped inside and closed the door behind me, my heart racing with equal parts guilt and determination.Medical records. That's what I needed. Proof of when his recovery actually started, what the doctors really said about his prognosis. The filing cabinet was locked, naturally. But his desk drawers weren't.I rifled through papers, trying to distinguish relevant documents from business contracts. Most of it was company related, boring financial projections and acquisition proposals. Nothing about his health, nothing about physical therapy schedules. Then I found his calendar. A leather-bound planner, the kind Vincent insisted on using despite having a digital calendar on his phone. Old

Camille's POVI didn't sleep. How could I after watching Vincent stand, after hearing him confess this entire nightmare was some twisted loyalty test? Morning light filtered through the bedroom curtains, and I'd spent the entire night replaying every moment since Kieran and Nikolai arrived.Vincent wheeled into the bedroom around eight, his face carefully neutral. "We need to talk.""You think?" I stayed on the bed, refusing to make this easier for him. "About which part? The part where you've been lying about your recovery, or the part where you pimped me out to test my devotion?""Don't use that word." His jaw tightened. "I gave you permission to find happiness since I couldn't provide it.""Permission." I laughed bitterly. "You gave me permission to betray my vows so you could what, collect evidence? Feel morally superior when you divorce me?""That's not what this was about." He wheeled closer, and I noticed how easily he maneuvered. How strong his arms looked. "I needed to know i

Camille's POV"Pass the salt, please." Vincent requested casually, as if we weren't all sitting at dinner pretending the last twenty-four hours hadn't happened.I handed him the shaker, avoiding eye contact with both Kieran and Nikolai across the table."How was everyone's day?" Vincent asked, as he picked his meat."Fine," I muttered, pushing my food around my plate."Productive," Kieran said, his eyes finding mine. The heat in his gaze made my stomach flip with the memories.Nikolai stayed silent. He'd barely looked at me since the argument where I didn't give him an answer. After he asked me to choose, I just brushed past him and went to Vincent's room.Vincent smiled like he knew exactly what was happening. "I'm glad everyone's settling in. This arrangement is working better than I hoped."My fork clattered against the plate. "Is it? Because from where I'm sitting, it feels like a disaster.""You guys will adjust." Vincent's hand found mine on the table, squeezing gently. Before I

Camille's POV"You've been avoiding me all day." Nikolai's voice came from behind me as I stood by the pool, watching the sunset.I'd spent most of the day in my room, unable to face what had happened last night. Unable to face Kieran's knowing looks at breakfast or the way Vincent smiled at me like nothing had changed."I'm not avoiding anyone," I said without turning around. "I needed time to think.""About last night?" He moved closer, and I heard the smile in his voice. "Or about how good it felt?"Those six words made heat crept up my neck. "That shouldn't have happened.""But it did." Nikolai came to stand beside me, close enough that our arms almost touched. "And you wanted it. And I know you still do."I finally looked at him. "One night," I said firmly. "That was all it was.""Is that what you told yourself this morning?" He turned to face me fully. "Because from where I stood, it looked like you could barely walk straight. Like Kieran and I had taken you apart and put you ba

Camille's POV"You can't sleep either?" I jumped at Kieran's voice, spinning around from the kitchen counter where I'd been staring at the glass of water in my hand. The clock on the microwave read 2:47 AM. He stood in the doorway wearing only sleep pants, his chest bare and his hair messy from lying down. "I'm fine," I lied. "I was just thirsty.""Right. That's why you've been standing there for ten minutes without drinking anything." He moved into the kitchen, and suddenly the space felt too small. "We need to talk about tonight.""There's nothing to talk about." I set the glass down, preparing to leave. "Vincent made an inappropriate suggestion. End of discussion.""Inappropriate?" Kieran laughs. "Your husband is trying to save your marriage.""By offering me to his friends like some kind of party favor?""By admitting he can't give you what you need." He closed the distance between us until I had to tilt my head back to maintain eye contact. "When's the last time someone touched y
