'Where did he go? He was here just a few minutes ago,' Drake jumped on the tree and tried to push it down.
But it would just not budge an inch. Marlon's scent was exactly on that tree and there was no way a tree could have eaten him alive. He circled the tree and even lifted his legs to pee on it.
At that instant, he heard muffled voices coming from below the earth. He placed his ears on top of the ground to hear it clearly but then it stopped.
“Didn’t I tell you, he would be helpful? Look at him, he came to help us without lazing around in that big mansion.” Bernard said and came out of his hiding.
“I don’t know how useful he will be for us. I was thinking that he would be caught by Marlon as he was following him too close earlier,” Faris commented and jumped in front of Drake.
