I'm there again, the black void that consumed me for years, that haunted me. I can hear Angie. Her laughter. She always told me jokes I only appreciated because no one else was going to.

Normally, every time I was here, she was crying. She screamed and yelled at me for putting her in this place. Owen told me it's not real. It was the guilt making me see things. I know that's the truth, but we as humans love lying to ourselves.

"Angie?" I call out once her laughter morphs into tears. "Where ar

VICKY4 YEARS LATER. I drag my suitcase up the stairs, huffing and puffing like a damaged train or something. I guess it's my fault for still not knowing how to pack accordingly. When I stop at the entrance, I take a second to admire the view. "Petals Wellness Center". It's basically a mental hospital but nobody wants to call it that. Owen had suggested me volunteering here after I graduated. I don't know why he did, but I agreed, and I'll be here for six months. There's a huge mahogany desk taking up most of the space in the waiting room. I walk past a few chairs inconveniently placed at the entrance and smile at the nurse who returns it. Guess this place isn't as miserable as I thought. "Hi, I'm Victor Andrez. I'm the one you spoke to on the phone earlier, concerning volunteering."Her smile only brightens. "Oh yes, Victor. I'll call someone to take you up to your room. I'll let you settle in today, but there'll be an orientation later in the day. Please sit and wait." She poin

ARCHER. 3 YEARS LATER. I'm staring at the tuxedo in front of me. My secretary Dean brought it forty-five minutes ago, and I still haven't been able to get up from my bed. Wearing that tuxedo will make everything real. Another reason I can't get up is because Dean is resting his head on mine. It was embarrassing calling him here, but I needed it. I needed him to fuck me and own me in the way I know nobody else would ever be able to. "You're going to be late?" Dean bitches and I smile slowly. I run my fingers through his hair before gently pushing him off me. "Well there's someone that wanted to go three rounds before he was satisfied, I don't see how that's my fault." He smirks and rolls off the bed. My mouth tries not to water at his edible biceps, or his dick that was in me not up to twenty minutes ago. He catches me staring and flips me off. "I hope you're going to shower Mr. CEO. Wouldn't want you getting married with my cum dripping out of your ass."It's my turn to flip him

My ringtone floods the quiet room and I flinch. I have been awake for a while now, but I don't want to wake Evana who currently has most of her body on me. I stretch to silence it, but it's no use because she wakes up. "Good morning." She stretches across my body before rolling off. "Morning. Slept well?"She nods and goes to the bathroom. I pick my phone stunned to see Vicky calling me. I hit the answer button and put the phone to my ears. "Hello?""Archer?" He's quiet but I'm patient. "I've left your condo. I just wanted you to know, so you can move in or do whatever you want."I sit up straight like a change of position will make me understand better. "Leaving? Like what do you mean?""I've moved out. Gotten my own place."He finally did it. "Cutting ties finally huh?" He doesn't respond. "And Ander? I know he didn't follow you. Or did he?""I left Ander on the floor of the main bathroom. He's been there since the day of his expulsion. You should check up on him."Evana comes out

Thanks to the pills, Ander is still asleep when I wake up. As quietly as possible, I pack up everything I own. Something tells me I should leave something to let him remember me by. But I know Ander won't forget me, not even if he wished to. Just to be nice, I spray my perfume on the pillow he claimed to be his. Also for extra credit, I sob into it. I cry so much I feel like my eyes are going to pop. I shouldn't be crying, but Owen did say letting him go would be harder than staying with him. Once I'm done, I drag all my stuff out the door. I could just walk away right now, but I can't. Not I don't, I physically and mentally cannot. Instead, I go back inside. Ander is still in the floor, asleep but sobbing. It makes me cry even more. "Don't go..." He says almost breathlessly. "Please, don't leave me." I stand at the door watching him cry. My fingers itch to touch him, to wipe his tears. "Mommy... Angie. Vicky? Archer? Where is everybody." Then a sob tears from his throat. "Why did

Everybody who is alive and in the university knows that Ander has been expelled. The university released an official notice concerning it, and most people for some sick reason are celebrating it. It only shows how horrible people truly are. Ander has been on the bathroom floor for about two days now. He only gets up to drink water from the sink and falls right back. He hasn't spoken to me or vice versa. There isn't anything either of us could possibly say. Another person being affected by the situation is me. So many people focus on Ander calling me his. They mock me, call me names, others pity me. Saying Ander led me to this path I'm on. I could blame Ander, yes. But I know that wouldn't be the truth. Aubrey looked at me today. I'm celebrating it because it's not her usual point zero glance. She looked at me and pitied me. I felt it radiating off everybody honestly. Pity, disgust. All negative emotions I don't freaking like. My class ends a little later than usual. The lecturer t

  • Head Over Shoulders    Ander

I don't go completely unconscious like I would've love to because a sharp pain stings my side. I force my eyes open and see Ria. She's trying to come to me, but there's a guy pushing her away. There are two holding either of my hands to stop me from falling. My legs feel like jelly. A sting on my face this time makes me raise my head. Looking down at me is someone I know I've seen before, but I don't know where or under what circumstances. The memory gaps are too frequent for a fucking 22 year old. "Get up would ya. The disciplinary committee doesn't have all day." He grunts. I try standing on my own, but I fall right back to the ground. The guys from earlier hoist me up. Ria snakes her way through them and grabs my face. "Everything is going to be fine okay? It's going to."I shake my head because I know it won't be. It's only when Ria takes her now blood stained hands off my face that I realize I'm bleeding. I don't feel physical pain anymore. Shits emotional now. I'm dragged, n
