Chapter 17

Adam POV

I was so angry at Jenna and the Moon Goddess. How could she pair me with someone who had some superpower as to heal someone? And how could Jenna not tell me? It had to be magic of some sort and I didn’t believe in that, but she managed to heal me, so I had to believe in something.

Making my way back downstairs I ask my Beta and Gamma to meet me in my office immediately. As I move into the office, I catch a faint smell of Wendy. She had been in my office earlier in the day and I didn’t understand why her scent was still lingering. I considered this as Sam and Jack walked into my office.

Asking Sam to close the door, I invite them both to sit. My office is painted grey with darker accents. I wanted the office to be masculine and welcoming at the same time. I wondered what Jenna would think of my office. Getting off track, I bring myself back to the point at hand.
