The first place I should have started from in searching for King Elros was the queen palace, I really never thought that she would be egotistical enough to try and hide him close to her, or so I thought.
I was already down to one day and I was panicking. I had not gone home in two days even though I sent words to my father that I was alright and he should start amassing the army of the Folk very quietly that there will be a sign and then they can charge forward.
I knew that I should be looking for my mate but I did not even know how to start or where to start from. At least to some extent I knew where the king would be or who took him. I did follow the instruction carefully and I found myself at the place where the headmaster said, before the stairs, they were labelled, the highest was thirty five which was strange because with the way he was going on about me not being able to finish climbing was strange, like they were in hundreds or something but it was just thirty five and like he also said, there were people milling about, some were sitting on the stairs and laughing while others stared at them with envy. I drew my conclusion that those sitting on the stairs were regarded as the cool kids.I was tempted, seriously tempted to ask one of the others milling about what the stairs were for but something told me that I would incur the wrath of my dad who was watching.With a sigh, I started the journey, with my first step on the stairs, I understood why the principal did what he did. Today was the most eventful one in the history of eventful. At least in my history. I got to meet a staircase whose main purpose was to rate people power level, something which I still don’t completely understand and then I flirted with a guy and asked for his number first, to be fair it was not my fault. My attraction to him was not just strong but still real because I just need to think about him and I am blushing like crazy, met with my guide who seems like a decent guy that was on his way to be my best friend. Apparently, I am clicking well with every member of the tour Team at ATI. And before I forget, I was dumped by my father at a new school for magical brats, in a whole new world which I had only heard about in stories and because my father is king and I might have people who will be after me by default, I have to tell the Principal to keep my identity secret, something which I had forgotten to double check because of the whole excitement for today.

The new girl rumors, there are always rumors about the new girl, this I know because in my time, I had spread some of them but this was on another whole new scale. ATI way of doing things were more extreme, way more extreme and sadly just the kind of extreme that would make me get hurt.The new rumors were fueled by the teachers refusal to give out my name and instead of the students thinking that I am some one important, they starting thinking that I was maybe a disgrace to the realm. Disgraces were halflings or changlings or those whose parents literally shamed their race and were unable to get away with it. When you manage to get away with it, you are regarded by another name, praises are sung about you and everybody forgets the wrong deed that you did. I knew when I was in danger. That is an ability most species in Faery had and my stay on earth did not affect that ability and currently, that ability was ringing alarm bells so hard in my head.“Hello, how can I help you?” I asked.“You have a lot of nerve.” The one in center gritted out.
