Seraphine went through the collection of dresses in the novel in front of her. They were supposed to be latest trends around the Capital.

There were few not released yet, and according to the dressmaker, it would be proper, with her being the daughter of the Duke, to start a trend.

Seraphine truly did not want to take on the burden of being a trendsetter.

The original Seraphine had followed that path, and what resulted from it was endless troubles. She was constantly being compared and ridiculed by others.

It wasn't that she was shying away from it; she did have confidence in her outlook. However, when one started a fashion trend, there were many things to follow after it.

As for the rest of the dresses, none of them suit Seraphine's taste. Wearing dresses on normal days was tiring enough for Seraphine, and the ones suitable for grand occasions were much heavier.
