Chapter 60

Walking out of the hotel, the waitress saw her and was a bit confused to see her leaving so early. She wondered if she forgot something. She was about to talk to her but when she saw Jessica's face, she stopped herself immediately.

It was already dark when she walked out. She picked up her phone, pressing nervously to order a taxi but she couldn't type anything and she decided to continue walking down the street.

A car stopped by her side, and the driver, Gary, was calling her name but Jessica could not see him.

Gary just finished a meeting with a business partner. He was coming out of the hotel and she saw Jessica coming out of the elevator. With a smile on his face, he walked towards her, calling her name but he noticed she couldn't hear and he decided to follow her immediately.

" Jessica!" Gary shouted again.

Jessica was thinking about how her life turned upside down, after hearing what Edwin and his friends were saying about her. She stopped walking after she heard her name.
