I felt the moment that the witches had crossed the barrier, I mean dark souls are my thing. I can’t help but smile at this thought, after almost a thousand years on this throne I still love a good dark soul.

I felt Chemosh enter my realm, he was easy to feel, his soul was dark but the part that belongs to Lizzy keeps him safe. That little tether to her keeps him from being fully dark and I hate to say this but I am kind of glad. He’s too good for this place, and me but I would never say this to him.

He stomps into my office like a bear with a sore head, I just raise one of my perfect eyebrows at him. He frowns at me as he slumps into one of my seats before dragging a huge tattooed hand down his face.

“Care to share, Chemmy?” I ask the drawn out looking man.

“That girl, Astrid, she is in a bad way Topaz. Darnick, he looks lost” He sighs, then leans forward resting his elbows on his muscular thighs. He knows the mention of the boy will pluck my interest, the girl not so much she'
