It was in the late afternoon that I decided to finally visit my father. Colton was pretty persistent despite reassuring him countless times.
I figured I had to tell him the truth why Nile and I were cool about it now. I didn’t tell him exactly how Jacob almost raped me. I just told him that he came to me in my room and attempted to take me again. Nile and his men came to my rescue just in the nick of time.
Colton sighed in relief at that although he wondered why it took time for me to tell him the news. I had to think of an answer and I was almost unable to lie to him because I rarely did to him. And this was one of those times.
I had to. It was painful for me and traumatizing. It was difficult for me to simply say it. One day, if I am able to, I’m sure Colton would understand my predicament.
I just told him that I was too shocked and it was hard to get over. He came to me just when I decided to have like a breather. He asked if he hurt me and I answered that he did. He hurt me in more ways than one. I reassured him by saying Nile made everything better for me.
I was meters away from our-... their house. I suddenly have second thoughts about this.
The sun was setting down and the temperature started to drop. There’s a puff of smoke whenever I breathe out.
I sighed. I’ll just get it over and done with.
I was now on their doorstep. I exhaled before ringing the doorbell. Not a moment longer, the door opened. I was surprised that it opened by itself and there was no one.
When I looked down, my eyebrows raised when I saw a little boy by the door. He was staring at me, green eyes wide with curiosity. He looked… he looked kind of familiar.
“Dilan, who is it?” In came a familiar deep voice.
My hair stood when I noticed it. He came behind the boy before looking straight at me. His eyes were wide when he recognized me. He was utterly shocked when he saw me.
“Kura?” He spoke full of emotions. His eyes watered behind the frames of his eye glasses.
I scowled at him.
She lied to me. She fucking lied to me!
I quickly turned around with nothing but rage piling up inside me. I don’t care about him. I don’t care about some closure or reunion. He was fucking fine. My father was fine. How dare she!
“Kura, wait!” I heard him shout as he jogged to follow me.
I continued to walk away, ignoring his plea. Unfortunately, I met his wife from the opposite direction. She was walking towards us, probably towards their home. And I was unlucky enough to meet them both at the same time.
Silena stopped when she noticed me. She was obviously surprised to see me. She frowned when she saw her husband coming after me. I saw her worried look as she fastened her pace to catch up to us.
Annoyed at them, I jogged across the street to derail them. Alexander didn’t follow to my relief. I stole a vague glance at them before proceeding to walk with a quickened pace. I saw Silena aiding my father who was out of breath.
Suddenly, I heard a crash and a loud thud as I continued my pace. Before I turned around to see the situation, there was a car that sped past us.
My heart began to beat loudly, deafening my ears, shaking my brain. I slowly turned around, afraid of what I might see.
My eyes watered at the sight, my body trembled with fear and anxiety.
“Silena!” My dad screamed as he ran towards my stepmother’s body lying on the road pooled with her own blood.
---
My hands couldn’t stop shaking. My chest was tight. My heart rate couldn't slow down. It was threatening to burst out from my chest.
I was feeling mixed emotions right now as we waited for Silena who had just been wheeled into the emergency room. My father was sitting on the bench, hands covering his face.
I can’t imagine what he was feeling right now. He was silent. I assumed he must be silently crying as I couldn’t hear his sobs. The kid was sitting beside him. I couldn’t figure out what he was feeling. He was hugging his teddy bear as he stared into space.
I found out that he was my half brother. Silena got pregnant shortly after I left.
I stood against the wall, thinking that I don’t deserve to sit, especially with them. I have long accepted that I was no longer part of their family.
I felt guilty. There’s a part of me that thought that I was the reason she’s fighting for her life right now. From the scene that I just saw, I knew she went after me.
I looked at the duo sitting at the bench. My sight steady at him.
He was thin. There were bags under his eyes, hair almost white, skin pale and wrinkly. He looked older than his age. He looked… really frail.
He lifted his head and our eyes met. I looked down, unable to look at him steadily.
Not a moment longer, I saw a pair of shoes in my line of sight. I looked up to see the owner and saw that it was him.
“It’s about time we need to talk.” He said. I was more distracted at how devastated he looked. I couldn’t refuse him anymore and so I nodded. The guilt wouldn’t let me deny him.
We went to the hospital's cafeteria. He was in a daze and still in a state of shock so I took the initiative to buy something for us. I bought coffee for both of us and a hot chocolate for his son who was still silent as he sat beside him.
If we were in a different circumstance, I would’ve brushed him off easily or not been as thoughtful as I am right now. I hate him… but he’s right. We needed to talk. My conscience allowed me to do so.
I sat down on the chair across from him. My heart clenched at the way he looked right now. Guilt consuming me.
What if I actually walked away and left him? He’ll be suffering alone. The poor kid is too young to know what’s going on and he couldn’t comfort he’s dad like an adult would.
Wouldn’t it be exactly what I wanted? To see him suffer like this?
But deep in my heart, he’s still my father. The boy is still my little brother. And Silena… she’s none other than my stepmom. I would be selfish and heartless if I left them when I knew they needed me the most.
Seeing that he wasn’t talking, I opened my mouth to speak but he surprisingly beat me to it.
“I’m sorry.”
I stilled in shock.
His hands started to roam under my dress. His fingers fiddled with my underwear. He could already feel my wetness and in a swift movement, he thrusted his two fingers inside me. I gasped before moaning between our kisses.I rocked my hips as he pulled and pushed his fingers inside me, adding one more along the way. I could feel his full erection against my stomach. God, I could never get used to his massiveness. It always hurts the first thrust.“With how much you’ve been fucking me day and night, don’t you think I would’ve been pregnant easily without the pills?” I muttered against his ear.“I’m sorry for lashing out. I thought you would refuse the idea of having a baby for now.” His response was that of a whisper.I withdrew a bit to face him. “It’s alright.” I smiled. “Considering I’ve been a difficult woman before we established a relationship.”He
It’s been more than half a year since Nile and I got married. After the stunt I pulled with the marriage certificate, Sara was even more adamant to have the wedding as soon as possible. That was after berating us in both Russian and Japanese. I didn’t understand a thing so I just stared at her confused that night. The question is why did I do it exactly? Why did I trick both of them, especially my husband? Honestly, I made the sudden decision right as Nile talked to the judge. I was staring at him as I waited for their conversation to finish. Then and there I thought.I want to marry him.I realized he didn’t ask me that question and only assumed that I would still refuse his proposal. I would refuse back then but now… it’s different. I want to be with him.I don’t know when he managed to change my mind. He effortlessly convinced me to be with him. To marry him and love only him… forever. He doesn&
“Your mom will be crushed if she finds out the news.” There was a hint of amusement in her statement.“What do you want to do?”She was quiet before she replied. “I’m honestly surprised. I seriously thought she was only teasing me about it. I didn’t know it was actually this serious when she kept mentioning it to you.”I looked at her inquisitively. “Why would you think she was teasing you?”“Ugh, hello? Have you seen the way your mom looks at me? The way your mom talks to me? It’s as if she’s planning something ridiculous. It’s like she’s planning to have one hundred ways to embarrass me. She’s as mischievous as a brat.”“Good point.”She raises her eyebrow at me as if in disbelief that I agree with her. But she’s right. My mom is pretty mischievous. There’s always plans up in her head and execute it wh
“I’ll be moving back to my apartment the day after tomorrow. Don’t forget that, Mr. Veselov.” I reminded Nile as he drove me towards Runner Studios.Nile was silent while having this deep frown on his eyebrows. I almost wanted to laugh but I held it in because I knew he hates the idea of me moving out of their mansion.“Come on. It’s not like we are going to be apart hours away. Do you want to fuck in my apartment again?” I teased him in the end.“I’d rather we fuck in my room, lyuBImaya.” He grunted.“Wait. My office isn’t in this direction. Where are we going?” I noticed he wasn’t going towards Runner Studios and instead took a different route.I was suspicious when Nile didn’t answer. It’s times like this that he’s up to something again. His silence is very dangerous for me.I was right when he stopped in front of a familiar
I woke up still exhausted and sore from last night. I took a bath before going down stairs for breakfast. I was absolutely starving.“Good morning, darling.” I froze when I met her downstairs. Her arms were crossed as she held a tiny knowing smirk in front of me.I was surprised to see Sara. I thought she was on a trip. She probably just got home then.“Good morning.” I responded shyly. And then I realized it was already noon and she was being sarcastic. “I’m sorry.”“No, no. You don’t need to apologize. I’m sure you are tired.”I blushed at her comment. I don’t know if she knew what I’ve been doing with her son the whole night.Sara only smiled before inviting me for lunch. “Come. I’m going to have lunch on the veranda. I’ve been feeling stuffy since I arrived home. I need some fresh air and delicious food.” She then whirls ar
Dad sauntered towards Nile. He stiffened, showing his nervousness.I restrained a laugh while looking the other way not to be obvious about my reaction.I mean my dad had this built in strict look. He was naturally intimidating. He was very similar to Nile, though I find Nile to be way more scary. I guess it’s because I know how powerful and influential he is. He can literally do whatever he wants. People simply let him be because they’re afraid of him. It’s ironic because his father was the total opposite. He had a really friendly vibe and was approachable.“Please take care of my daughter.”My head whipped towards their direction, shocked at my father’s words. Nile was obviously shocked as well.I thought he’s going to roast him. Sadly, it didn’t happen.“Of course.” He answered confidently. There was a vague smile on his lips, his body now relaxed.I g
