Chapter Eighty-three

[Third person's point of view]

Laura was lying in the hospital bed when she caught a glimpse of Eugene, who had been sitting and working on the sofa for nearly an hour. Only the sound of the papers Eugene was holding and his typing on the laptop could be heard in the quiet room.

Laura clicked her tongue when she became bored. He didn't know what to say to Eugene because she didn't remember much, and she was not sure what conversation she'll have with him. She was embarrassed to ask because the room was in disarray due to his sudden headache.

Laura puffed out her cheeks while staring boredly at Eugene.

"Are you bored, wife?"

Laura's eyes widened in surprise as Eugene turned to face her. She was caught off guard, unable to speak as she stared at Eugene's face.

"Those glasses suit you, you look handsome," she said abruptly. Even she is taken aback by the words that have come out of her mouth.

Laura closed her eyes and looked away, embarrassed, especially when she saw Eugene's lovely smil
