"But why?" I ask.

I had no idea he had changed his plans.

"I'm sorry for informing you of this late wife; it was just a last-minute decision; if we stay on an island, we'll have a difficult time going to the hospital or having you checked," he explained carefully.

When I finally understand why he changes his mind, I look at him for a second before nodding my head. That's exactly right; I didn't think we'd have a problem getting somewhere because it's an island and very private.

I look at him again and immediately smile to show him that I am not angry or upset.
