They make a beeline for the exit after swiftly gathering their belongings, waiting for the valet attendant to turn the Jeep around. Sedar drapes his jacket around her shoulders, and when he turns away, she inhales his aroma by bringing the collar up to her nose. It's a scent she's grown quite fond of and one she'll miss.
"Sedar," She says softly, drawing his full attention to herself.
"Please tell me this isn't just about sex for you?" Even if she doesn't love him, the possibility of it happening exists.
And she refuses to let her body be used as a pleasurable vessel by a man once again. Even if she does give her consent for sex this time around.
He turns to face her, places her face in his hands, and looks into her eyes with a chuckle. "All I'm doing is taking my wife home to make love to her." His voice is gruff and lustful.

Eight days later.... Mercedes finally managed to claw her way out of the place that held her captive for many days. She could no longer yield to the suffering torment of the darkness. Mercedes rushed into Sedar's room, her body trembling with excitement and the pit of her stomach churning with butterflies. When she arrived, Zeynep was sleeping next to Sedar, her hand clasping his. Her steps faltered, she suddenly felt like the wind had been knocked out of her and the butterflies soon dispersed. She found herself blushing, her body reacting to him more naturally compared to the way it did under Sedar's attention. She felt free to be herself around Ozgar, and she didn't have to second-guess her every move. He effortlessly made her smile.
