Chapter 054 Back On Track

It pained me to just up and leave the house that had been my home for the past five years. However, I couldn't have it any other way now.

Becky and her family were nice and all, but Dawn and Winter mattered more to me. My absence had left them in the hands of that monster.

If now wasn't the time to get my life back on track and go save my family, I didn't know when was.

"Mister, can we leave now?" the skipper asked after he helped me into his boat.

I stared in a distance at the Williamson family's house. When I saw Becky rush out of the house, I said, "Yes, please. Quick!"

The boat sailed off moments later. I watched as Becky ran to the seashore and stamped her feet multiple times. I could already imagine all the words she was saying now.

I reflected on everything during the ride to the dock. Also, I made mental notes on the first things I had to do before going to rescue Winter and Dawn.
