I was sat with a hot drink in my hand looking at Indigo, who was sitting there silently as Elijah held her. She had argued with me and it had taken Elijah a lot to calm me down. I had been so angry that Fred had done this to her. More so, I was angry at myself for not seeing it. Yes, I saw that with time she had become quieter, but people change with time. Never would I have thought she was being abused. I put her change down to her countless miscarriages, that they were the reason for her quieter mood and the emotions that sometimes filled her eyes.
