SHE KEPT TRYING TO KICK HIM

Quirino blinked his eyes while observing the appearance of this woman in front of him.

Morana was just wearing the worn out jeans and oversized sweater she used to wear, without carrying a bag or anything!

this woman is crazy!

"I'm out of the house, not running away." Morana corrected Quirino's words, her brow furrowed in displeasure. "If you run away, it means that the people at home don't want me to go but I decided to leave, but I left the house which means it doesn't make a difference whether I'm there or not," she said it lightly.

Quirino is still trying to understand the current situation. "Then why are you here?" This is what makes him so hard to understand her.

"Since you said I'm your girl to everyone, so it's only natural that you're the one I'm looking for." Morana answered casually, although she herself never confirmed the relationship between them.

This is a strange relationship, based not on liking, but with curiosity that makes Quirino attracted to Morana, while the girl herself doesn't really care about the status between the two of them, as long as he can fulfill her needs, she has no problem with anything Quirino tell others about the relationship between them.

Yes, since the two hundred money incident, Morana often gets money from Quirino easily, although on many occasions Morana doesn't do what Quirino asks because she doesn't like it, but in the end, Quirino will always spend money for Morana, it was either to just accompany him to do something or going to places, or even as odd as for trivial arguments that upset one of them.

Money is not a problem for Quirino, the monthly allowance he receives from his parents is able to support himself and pay for Morana's schooling, not to mention Quirino, who does not live an extravagant life. Currently he is even doing part time at a cafe in this city.

"You go here at night, just to look for me? If you really leave the house, why don't you go to your friend's or relative's house?" Why are you even looking for me here?

Morana snorted at Quirino's words. "I don't want to go to my relatives' place and you know that I don't have friends."

Quirino knows that Morana has no close friends, because she always chooses to be alone. "And then? How's this?"

"I'm staying at your boarding house for a while." Morana shrugged her shoulders, as if the answer was very clear and Quirino was so stupid not to understand this.

"What!?"

Quirino's eyes widened, this was the most absurd answer he had ever heard, even though he knew he could not leave Morana alone in the middle of the night like this.

Quirino is not a holy man who has never been close to women so he became nervous about Morana's decision to spend the night, not because of that, but...

"You know this is a special boarding house for boys?" Quirino wanted to hit Morana's head, maybe then this woman could find her sanity. Her statement to spend the night in his room was the same as if she was surrendering herself to Quirino, or at least, that's how Quirino interpreted it. "I'll get in trouble if you get caught in my room!"

Quirino turned his back, like a father scolding his naughty daughter, no, Morana wasn't naughty, it was just that there was something wrong with the way she was thinking.

"Then don't let anyone to find out." The answer is easy.

"Morana ..." Quirino sighed as he said her name tiredly, he massaged his forehead which was throbbing in pain. Tomorrow he still has his semester exams and this girl came at the right time to add to his headache. “I'm a normal guy… are you sure you want to stay at my place? You're kidding, right?"

This time Morana was getting annoyed with Quirino's attitude, she stood up while showing her annoyed expression, usually Quirino would start smiling triumphantly every time Morana made a facial expression like that, but not this time.

"You think I came all the way here just to make fun of you?" Her words have some truth even if the reasons are unacceptable.

"But you can't stay here!" Quirino said in a slightly harsh tone. This is the first time Quirino raised his voice like this.

Hearing Quirino harsh tone, Morana closed her lips and without saying a word she walked away.

Realizing that he was getting too emotional, Quirino grabbed Morana's wrist. "Where are you going?" This time his tone was softer.

However, Morana chose to remain silent and said nothing while trying to free her wrist from Quirino's grip.

"Stop fighting me, can't you? I'm still thinking." Quirino caught Morana's other wrist so she couldn't move freely now.

Because both hands could not be moved, Morana chose to kick Quirino's shin.

Fortunately, Quirino has good reflexes, so he can avoid Morana's kick in time.

"Don't kick me!" he shouted angrily.

"If you don't want me here, that's fine, I'm leaving now." Morana is still trying to kick Quirino, but always fails.

"I didn't say you couldn't be here!" Quirino paused for a moment after he said it. “Well, I said you can't be here… but, that's not what I meant!” He tried to defend himself.

“Choose now. I can stay at your place or I'll go now." Morana insisted giving Quirino not much time to think.

"Okay, but you have to tell me why you left the house." Quirino uses the term Morana had chosen, although he still doesn't understand the difference between leaving the house and running away.

Hearing Quirino's requirements, Morana was not very happy, her nose would frown cutely when she found something she didn't like, Quirino had already memorized this habit.

"No." Morana said briefly and clearly, then she continued her efforts to break free from Quirino's grip.

"Okay, okay!" Quirino gave up when Morana tried to bite his hand because her attempts to kick Quirino always failed. “Stop!”
