Solane

Marcello's laughter that was once melodious to my hearing, now sounds horrid, hurting and maniac to my ears. I stood there shaking with fury as my plan of escaping failed.

“You are only making this harder for yourself, Sol,” he muttered, grabbing my cheeks and squeezing it tightly but I refused to let this monster touch me

“Get your hands off me, you murderer,” I spat, shaking my face from his grip.

He tilted his head slightly, looking at me like he wasn't affected by my words.

“Your stubbornness proves that I have no choice but to do this,” he said, without waiting for my reaction, he flipped me, hanging me on his shoulders.

‘What’s he planning to do?’

I shouted, screamed and hit him on his shoulders, my legs dangling in the air as he carried me back into the mansion. My screams fell on deaf ears, reminding me of where I was and the scary thing was that I might not be able to be free from here.

He carried me back to the room, locking the door from outside. Footsteps echoed outside the door as I heard him commanding his men to guard the door.

The reality of everything flooded in again, overwhelming me. The memory of my father's lifeless body dropping to the ground resurfaced again, making my blood hot with anger but what made me more angry was being powerless. ‘Father, what do I do?’

I leaned on the bed frame, thinking about how else I can escape from here because I can't give up just yet. I wiped away tears that threatened to drop from my eyes, determined not to back down. I must find a way to get away from her and avenge my father.

I curled, folding my legs close to my chest as I rested my head on my knees. Just as I was about to drift into sleep when the room door slammed open.

Fear gripped my heart as Marcello stumbled inside, the heavy stink of alcohol clung to him. His steps were unsteady, his shirt half buttoned and his gaze held a hint of gentleness and vulnerability as he staggered and fell on the bed, right at my foot.

“Sol,” he muttered, his eyes fluttering in the most tender way I have ever seen him.

What's wrong with him? Why is he here and even drunk at that? I scrambled away from him to avoid his touch but then he muttered words that made my heart flutter.

“Dont push me away, Sol,” he murmured, his eyes filled with emotions.

I blinked in unbelief. Wasn't this the same person who threatened me few hours ago?

He stood up from the bed and walked to the corner where I stood. His hands cupped my face gently as stared at eachother for a moment.

And I couldn't deny the stir in my heart, the love we shared for the past two year over took my senses and I found myself leaning unto him because the man I was seeing was the Salvatore I knew, caring, pure and loving.

‘No, this can't happen. He killed my father and deceived me. I can't get laid by him,’ I said, internally and tried pushing me way but his strength overpowered mine.

I was about to shout for help when an escape idea dropped in my mind. Marcello's vulnerable state was a good opportunity to escape from here, no one would know I had gone since they know we were in the same room.

His hand wrapped around my waist loosely while the other hand cupped my face.

‘This shouldn't be hard, since it wouldn't be our first,’ I said in my thoughts, then inhaled sharply. ‘Just for escape and nothing more. Escape.’

His hands brushed away tendril of hair from my face then his thumb brushed my bottom lip sensually. Then he leaned down and pressed his lips to mine, while I fight hard not to resist it because it's the only sensible escape plan I could come up with.

I kissed him back, the taste of alcohol filling my mouth, my fingers tangled in his shirt as his hands framed my face, holding me like I was something he didn't want out of his grip.

“I miss you, Sol,” he mumbled against my lips as his hands worked on my body, smooching my boobs through my dress.

His lips left mine to trail down my throat, I gasped, arching into him. His hands slid lower, gripping my hips, pulling me against his body. My body betrayed me as a moan escaped my lips when his hands slid underneath my dress. I bite down on my lips, hating the way my body responded to his touch. Hated that I was enjoying this.

“Fuck, Sol…” he rasped, his voice rough from being drunk and with lust as his fingers thrust into my wet folds. “Do you see how you respond to my fucking touch? It's crazy.”

“I don't…” The denial broke into a shiver as he circled my clit. My hips pressed into his hands exposing me as much as my words could ever. “Marcello…”

A low drunk, sharp laughter erupted from his lips. “Again…say my name again,” he commanded. “I want to hear you scream my name as I ruin you.”

“Marcello…” I whimpered as he inserted two fingers inside me. My moan filled the room as he increased the pace of the thrust then claiming my lips again, his breath hot against mine.

He broke the kiss and spun me around, laying me flat on the bed. My clothes came off in a frenzy, his hands careful not to hurt me. My breath etched as he locked his gaze on mine, warm but still dark with intent as he slid himself inside me.

The stretch of his fingers in me was brutal, and sweet as my gasp was swallowed by his mouth. My hands slid into his hair, pulling his head to myself, deepening the kiss as we both consumed each other but just when I thought it was over Marcello was just getting started.

Marcello Regnum club pulsed with life, the music booming until it felt like the walls were moving with the beat. Regnum shined across the street outside, drawing people in like moth chasing light. Inside the black marble floor gleamed, reflecting flashes of light, while crystal fixtures scattered sparks over the crowd. Many think it's a place for pleasure. I knew it for what it truly was. The private rooms above the dance floor weren't for drinking, they were for businesses, keeping order and for reminding me where power lived. The crowd parted as soon as I stepped inside. No one needs to hear my name to recognize me. Heads turn, silent gasps, voice low. My presence alone commands authority that clears paths.I was dressed in a sharp buttoned black suit that opened a little bit of skin. My men followed from behind unnecessarily. The room already made space for me.Men of caliber filled the VIP lounge as a gambling session was going on. The air shifted as I walked by, the strippers wh

Father and I had sometimes disagreed on some things, but I had never wished him death, despite him being annoying and frustrating. In spite of all these, I love Father so much. He was the only one I have as a family in the whole wide world. I raised my head and looked around. All my father's men went down as unknown gun men took all of them out. The horror played in front of me as they were being shot radically. ‘No! Maybe I had seen something wrong. Salvatore couldn't have killed father.’ I thought, shaking my head in denial. But it happened right in front of me. My eyes met Salvatore's and I could see his eyes darkened. This is nothing like my boyfriend of two years. Who's this man before me? The room fell into a dreadful silence as only my trembling voice could be heard in the room. One of the armed men walked closer to Sal
