Chapter 15

Jacob jerked up his head when he heard the name, he felt like someone has hit him hard and for a moment his whole body went numb as he took a step back and collapsed on the ground.

But Thankfully his brother held his arm and steady him on time.

"Careful. The baby." He reminded him as he looked at the baby in his arms.

Jacob came back to his senses as he held the baby close to his heart and gasped, "My son..."

James felt like he had heard him wrong as he asked in confusion. "Your son?"

"Yes, this is my son James. I have a son, my and Emma's son." He told him as his eyes were filled with deep emotions.

James cried out in surprise, "Is this your Emma?"

Jacob nodded his head, since Emma had left he told his brother about her disappearance and even confessed his love for her.

Soon the detectives arrived at the scene and asked Jacob to hand over the baby to Medics for the checkup and further procedures.
