Eliana:

I smiled at the sight of my husband who walked inside our kids room when he woke up.

It was weekend today, and I knew that the kids wanted to go out. But seeing as Vladimir came home late last night, I knew that we needed to wait for him to get his rest before we went out to do anything. Therefore, we were now playing a bunch of card games that they were breaking every possible rule of.

“Daddy!” Xavier said getting up from the floor and running toward his father. He wore nothing but his grey sweat pants, standing shirtless for me to admire his toned body, and I couldn’t help but frown when I saw the bruise on his left shoulder.

I got up from the ground as Ayla ran to him, Vladimir who had Xavier in his arms, hugging him tightly, put our youngest down to carry Ayla and hug her. His eyes met mine and he knew that my attention was fixed on the bruise. He walked toward me, wrapping his arm around me after putting Ayla down, and kissed my cheek.
