WEREWOLF - PART 2.1

Chapter Seven

Morning came quite swift than Aliyah had expected. She rose from the bed and the first thought that flew to her mind was how she would be able to go back to school. While she was still in water wave pack, she could remember the lessons made by her father about the importance of school. She had fully come to terms with the fact that she would be staying with Raphael, who is her mate for most probably the rest of her life, that doesn't changed the fact that she still didn't need to go to school. After thinking about it for a couple of minutes, Aliyah stepped down from her king size bed and head out the room. The door hadn't been fixed by Raphael and it left her wondering what sort pyscho she would be living with.

Raphael was going through his phone, while eating his breakfast. He had woken up quite late and it was due to the fact that he had been working all night long. He suddenly felt a presence and when he looked up, Aliyah stood in her night gown staring down at her feet; a sign that could only mean she was still nervous around him.

"Good to see you are awake mate." Aliyah raised her head up and looked at Raphael. For some odd reason, she didn't know why she was particularly scared of him. It could be due to his status, which she feared made her nothing but an object of death in the eyes of his enemies or the scene that would forever stick to her head about Raphael killing another person in the restaurant.

"Good Morning." She finally summoned the courage to speak. Raphael pulled a chair close to him and placed his hands, indicating she could have a seat. She walked slowly towards the seat and sat gracefully afterwards. "Care for a tea.... Never mind, I guess I can tell the omegas to make one for you." She was quick to stop him. "I am not willing to drink tea yet, I just wanted to discuss something quite important." Raphael dropped the mug cup and placed his full concentration on her.

"Before coming to this mansion and before your father's pack, I usually go to school. I am the type that loves taking my education really serious and to prove this, I have been taking online courses despite being restrained sometimes from going to school." Raphael could see the look of sadness that filled her face.

"So what do you want?" He asked. "To go back to school, I want to continue with my education. This is all I seek for." Raphael could not only see the desperation in her eyes, she also had a look of motivation, something that sparked his interest.

"Very well then, you will continue school. Like I said last night, I am not those type of mates who seeks nothing but sex and pups from you. I will always support you." Her heart was filled with smiles. She was slowly beginning to think if her fate hadn't actually been a blessing in disguise. Raphael got up from the chair, adjusted his tie.

"I will speak to your school's councilor about the semester you have missed, I am pretty sure it can be covered up." She nodded and with that, Raphael gave her a slight tap at the back, before heading out of the room.

Giovanni stared through the long express road filled with cars and sea of heads walking through the road pavement. His thoughts were far from what his sights were beholding. Apparently, he had gotten a call from his father to have lunch with him and being the first child, he couldn't refuse the meal.

When he arrived at his father's pack, Raphael chuckled seeing the new architectural design his father had opted to use in redesigning his house. When he got out of his car, he saw his father standing by the entrance with his body guards beside him. Norrignton had a slight smirk on his face, seeing his son step up and bow slightly before him.

"Age hasn't quite caught up with you my son.....Goodness gracious, what is this you have on your face?" Norrignton asked referring to the mouths tache Raphael had grown months ago. "I would rather you grow your beards out to look like a perfect gentleman than you having whiskies like a pussy cat." His father despite their past had a good sense of humor, but even Raphael knew that nothing amuses his father.

"I got your text and I decided to show up Father." He said ignoring his father's comment totally. "Ah yes. Seeing as it has been almost six months since we last sticker together, I thought it would be nice to have dinner with my son." Raphael shook his head and Norrignton ushered him into the living room.

"...Look who has grown all huge." Norrignton forced himself not to roll his eyes at the sight of Priscilla. They haven't been in the best terms possible and it all started the moment his father chose to take a second wife. Raphael missed his mother, who would usually welcome him like a king. Apparently, his mother had been killed while he was away by some rogues and after a year of mourning, Raphael was shocked to see his mother replaced with another woman, who apparently is his father's concubine. "Good to see you too Priscilla." He said, faking a smile at her.

They all head to the dinning table, where pasta had been served for lunch; a dish common in their family.

"So tell me Raphael, how is the business going?" His father decided to initiate a conversation. "Well for starters, Aizar is dead and as for the other business, we have expanded the ware houses across the whole of Stellar Pack, which is a good thing as our pack is now a force to reckon with." Norrignton had a smile on his face hearing those words from his son.

"I haven't been more proud, knowing I did the right thing by handing over the activities of the table to you my son." Priscilla looked uncomfortable, hearing those words from Norrignton and he noticed it.

"How is my step brother?" Raphael directed his question to Priscilla after seeing her uncomfortable. "Well for starters he is doing pretty well in his oil business, I guess you were too busy to see that he has built an empire in the oil industry for most packs." Raphael noticed the subliminal sarcasm, but chose to ignore it.

"So Raphael, when do you intend bringing home a suitable bride? It has been age long since the incident of your... Well of your mate. I believe you have to get a good bride. I mean you will be thirty next week and it will be a shame if you haven't found a woman to settle with." Raphael knew that part of the reason for the lunch date was to enquire about his marital status and he was willing to give the perfect reply. "Father, while I understand your point that it is obviously high time I settle down and get a perfect bride, I still believe I am in the search process. I have a girlfriend at the moment." Giovanni regretted saying the last part of the sentence as his father looked up at him in disbelief.

"I am so proud of you son. Show me her picture." Raphael hesitated for a moment, thinking whether or not it would be risky showing Aliyah's picture. Despite the years apart, so many things had changed and he doubted his father would easily recognize her. Eventually, he pulled out a phone and checked through the gallery. He found Aliyah's picture and showed it to his father. "My goodness! She is such a beauty." Norrignton exclaimed and in that moment, he sighed in relief, glad that his father could no longer recognize her face. Norrignton showed the photo to Priscilla, who was also impressed as well.

"When do you intend bringing her to see me?" His father asked handing over the phone back to Raphael. "Father, don't you think it's a little bit too early to start asking such serious questions?" Raphael bead hoping it wouldn't come to that. He didn't imagine Aliyah returning to the pack that had killed her parents.

"Nothing is too late son. It's either you are being serious with her or she is just another fling of yours." Raphael wasn't taken it likely, hearing his father place his mate in such manner. "If you are being serious with her, then you have to prove it son." Norrignton added, seeing how his son's countenance has changed.

"Father, when the right time come, you can be assured you will get to meet her." Raphael added and they all returned back to eating. "That reminds me, Shrevolsky has been on the rampage once again, I trust you should know what to do with him?" Raphael sighed knowing how the leader of the Russ Rogues was becoming much of a nuisance.

"I guess we will have to increase the wages. Our clients from Chino Pack and Oakwood Pack cannot be lost, they are literally our greatest weapon." Raphael explained to his father who clearly understood what his son was talking about.

"Remember son, no matter what happens we do not get on Shrevolsky bad side." Raphael smiled and his gaze suddenly fell on Priscilla, who looked quite displeased. Raphael was certain that she was still pissed about the fact that her step son wasn't added into family table. "I will take my leave now, I believe my appetite is full." Priscilla said, standing up to her feet, while Norrignton watched with curiosity. "You know son, I certainly hope that one day she would come to the realization that I clearly did what was best for the family. Your uncles will ask the questions about the whole situation, something I am not willing to have a reply to just yet." Raphael said no words as he didn't want to come out rude with the several things he chose to speak but kept in silence. He could only hope that one day, things do not escalate between them all.

Chapter Eight

When Aliyah got out of the limousine that had conveyed her all the way from Raphael's mansion, back to school, she was anxious seeing the several eyes that fell upon her. Aliyay had insisted that she stepped into the school on foot, but Raphael had totally refused.

While looking across the school environment, Aliyah stumble upon a young girl, who was apparently in the same age category as herself.

"Hey, my name is Daisy. A member of Mercury Pack." Aliyah hesitated, before eventually taking the hand.

"Aliyah." Daisy gasped in disbelief, leaving Aliyah with a questioning look.

"The buzz going around were true! According to what I was told, you stepped out of a limousine. Such a wild upgrade." Aliyah suddenly walked closer to meet Daisy. She noticed some of the girls approaching her and this increased her curiosity.

Aliyah looked up and the one bully she had always hated aside the girls was staring at her with a smirk on the face. Apparently Romeo was one of the few guys in the school that totally derived pleasures in hurting Aliyah.

"Someone is slowly getting a life, I am quite impressed." He walked slowly over to Aliyah but Daisy was quick to pull out a pepper spray.

"Do you really think that thing would stop me from instigating the plan I have in mind? You have to think again darling." He shoved Daisy aside and dragged Aliyah by the hair. He was much stronger than her despite being an Alpha daughter. Aliyah struggled to get free, Daisy was yelling through the hall way for help, but no one would opt out to help.

Romeo took Aliyah into the rest room and placed her on the wall, holding her by the neck.

"I have waited for this moment. You have been particularly on my radar and I would not rest till I have sex with you." While he tried to kiss her, she pulled away and Romeo forcefully pulled her back and crashed his lips unto her. The moment would only last for a mere seconds as he was pulled away with force.

When Aliyah opened her eyes, she gasped seeing the man standing right in front of her. "No one takes what is mine." Raphael said with gritted teeth.

Aliyah watched in horror as Raphael went down and began to throw series of punches at Romeo. She couldn't do anything about it as his had scream murder right from the moment he had pulled Romeo out of her. After several minutes, blood spilled out of Romeo and it was clear he had become unconscious.

"Lets go." He said, once he stood up from his unconscious body. Aliyah didn't think she could continue with classes for the day and followed Raphael out of the restroom. While they walked through the hallway, Daisy rushed over to meet her friend but upon seeing Raphael, she stopped in her track. Aliyah made a gesture indicating she was going to give her a call later on.

Once they were out of the school premises, Aliyah noticed a couple of men outside the black mustang Raphael had arrived with. She had recognized these men from the incident at the restaurant days ago.

When they arrived at the mansion, Aliyah stepped into the mansion and dropped dead on the couch, trying to fix her mind out of the incident with Romeo. "It was obvious you were enjoying the moment with him weren't you?" Aliyah looked up in surprise at Raphael, who still had the deadly look he had given Romeo at the restroom.

"I don't understand what you are talking about." She replied, lifting her head off the couch to stare at Raphael properly. "Don't give me that pretense. I was passing through the school premises and I gave it a thought to stop at the gate and what do I see? A young girl yelling out for help. I stepped out and when I asked what the problem was, she told me about some guy taking her friend to the restroom and when I enquire further, I was told it was you." He explained.

"I was being harrassed by Romeo...." "Don't give me that crap. At first I believed you were being harrassed. On a second thought, I realized you were enjoying it. When I burst through the restroom, I could see you not resisting." Aliyah couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. They sounded like abomination to her ears.

"How can you say such a thing? You and I know that Romeo was clearly bullying me. He was more powerful. How do you expect me to resist." He walked closer to Aliyah, knelt before her and grabbed her chin forcefully.

"Maybe I need to remind you that you are mine and you will forever remain like that. Maybe I need to explain to you that I took you from away from my father else you would have been killed. You are my mate and you will have to learn to see me as your mate." Aliyah was slowly getting amazed by the audacity he used in explaining exactly her status in his life.

After Raphael had given her a split second intense stare, he let her go. Aliyah got up from the couch and before she would head up to her room, she looked at Raphael one last time. "And i really thought you were going to be different." After she had left, Raphael finally realized what he had done. He was misusing the one opportunity he had hoped to make Aliyah like him in the place of hating him instead.

**

Aliyah laid on her bed, thinking about the whole thing Raphael had said to her earlier. She couldn't believe that he would accuse her of such an act like that. Seeing the love he had shown to her in the first week she had been here, Aliyah believed that Raphael was going to be her liberator, apparently she was wrong about the whole thing.

For the rest of the evening, she stayed in her room and despite the multiple knocks on the door, she refused to let anyone in. For most part of the knocking, Raphael's voice could be heard, but she was unfazed by it. She had made it a portion for her self that she would not be intimidated ever again by his acts.

She slept late, owing to the fact that she didn't eat lunch nor dinner and despite the pleas coming from the back doors, by Raphael, she stayed stubborn. Late into the night, her stomach began to grumble and Aliyah knew that she needed to eat, if she wasn't willing to develop ulcer. Slowly, she got out of bed and made her way out of the room, till she got to the kitchen. When she switched on the light, she gasped seeing the sight of Raphael on the chair.

"I was hoping you would wake up by midnight and eat something and I guess I was right." He said, rubbing his eyes. "You were out here waiting for me?" Aliyah asked in amazement. "You weren't willing to open the door and so, I took a wild guess and it turns out I was right." Aliyah didn't say anything afterwards. She walked to the counter and pulled out noodles from the cupboard, while Raphael watched her.

"Imade, I am sorry. I know I clearly said some hurtful words earlier today, but I was too pissed that I wasn't thinking rationally." Raphael explained, while she placed the cooking pots on the gas. "First of all, my name is not Imade. While I intend to go into details about everything, I would rather keep things as simple as clear. Secondly about the words you said earlier, I was really hurt Raphael. I really thought you were going to be different, considering I had a very bad past. You turned out to be quite the same. Accusing me even when the reality was glaring at you. It is obvious you are the type who is swift to judge." Like the pointed knife, her words pierced her soul and all he could think of at that moment was to make it up to her.

"I understand Imade.....Since you don't want me calling you Imade, what should I call you then." Aliyah turned and looked at him in the eye; "My name is Aliyah Fiala and I am not going to be made into some sort of Omeg." She turned around and zipped down a little of her bare back. "This right here, is a testament of what my life has done to me. While I have left all these things in the past, I don't want them reoccurring in the present again." Raphael was speechless, hearing her mini tales. While some part of him was pissed that father had pulled a stunt on him, the other part was glad that this was actually a blessing in disguise.

"I understand that you will want to hurt them, but I will advice that you leave them to their fate. I am much better without them." Raphael walked closer to meet her. "I am only choosing to keep calm over the whole situation because you told me to do so. Else, I would have been sending my boys over and destroying Romeo and his wretched family." Aliyah moved a step backwards as she wasn't comfortable about the fact that Raphael was breaking into her space.

"So I guess I am forgiven after all?" Raphael asked with a smirk on his face. Aliyah rolled here eyes internally and smiled as well. Regardless of what Raphael had said earlier, she knew that she had no option than to forgive him. He had clearly shown that he was acting on his own volition and also irrationally. "I guess so.." Raphael smiled and leaned in to grab her lips. Aliyah felt nothing the moment his lips touched hers. They were soft and they tasted like strawberries. She couldn't also deny the fact that they were intoxicating as well.

Raphael hoisted her up on the counter and continued kissing her, taking total control of the passion filled moment. Their intense moment was brought to an end, the moment Aliyah broke free, having perceived her noodles were completely burnt.

"Great, now I don't have anything to eat." Raphael walked slowly over to her side, his huge frame covering hers. "You have me..." He said teasingly.

"Can you stop being gross? I am really hungry and need something to eat." She said, playfully pushing him away. "Very well then, I knew you would be hungry, which is why I had the maid order pizza an hour ago. Not to worry, it is still good." Aliyah looked at him with adoration, while Raphael leaned at the counter and pulled out the pizza box.

"Least I forget, from now on, you will be going to school with a personal guard. I figure you may need help when I am not available." Aliyah attempted to object to it, but seeing the look that Raphael gave her, she conceded to his decision. They both dugged into the pizza and ate while the atmosphere was filled with happiness as they talked about their personal life.
