WEREWOLF - PART 1.3

Chapter Five

Staring at the door, Raphael was conflicted. He knew that his father was a very strict leader and being one of the top leaders of the Elite Pack, everyone respected him. Once he summoned the much courage he needed, Raphael pulled the door open, revealing a dimly lit room. Alpha Norrignton was fond of the dark and Raphael was fully aware of this trait, which he found absolutely absurd.

"What is the problem son?" His father's voice pulled his attention towards the king size bed, where his father was looking throuy several documents.

"Father, I uhm.. well I came to discuss something very important with you and I would be glad if you spare me the time to speak." Alpha Norrignton pulled his documents aware and for a moment, he studied his son's countenance. He looked uneased and this increased his curiosity.

Raphael approached the bed, pulling out a chair attached to the reading table, his father seemingly had picked the documents from.

"I finally found my mate." Hid reaction was genuinely lite with do much happiness. It would be the first Raphael had seen in a very long time.

"I was beginning to suggest that you will have to get married to a suitable bride." His father revealed with a chuckle, which Raphael reciprocated as well however, anxiously.

"What is her name, is she from our pack? What do I need to know about her?" For a moment Raphael wished the moon goddess had been kind to him. He wished above everything that the mate he finally found to be his own would be accepted, but Raphael knew more than anyone else that his father would be furious when he learned about her. Regardless he needed to tell him.

"Her name is Aliyah Fiala, daughter of Alpha Fiala of the water wave pack." Raphael saw the instant look of displeasure in the eyes of his father. "We have talked about this several times and you even know the history as well. You cannot get married to such person. Her pack were menace that had been washed away. It would take a great deal to ever get the other rogues conform to the reality of the fact that she is in my pack." Raphael noticed the subliminal hint of a warning from his father.

"Are you trying to tell me that there is a tendancy that she could be killed?" He asked, feeling completely scared for the answer that would follow next.

"Son, you have to get rid of her immediately. I don't know how you plan on doing it, but you really need to get rid of her. It is best for the saftey of our legacy." Raphael hated that he had been brought up in such a bizzare place and a bizzare pack. His father was highly influential and his influence cut across several businesses across the pack.

"Father I cannot kill my mate." His father sighed and leaned backwards to the bed and picked up his cellular; alarmed, Raphael was swift to hold his father's hand.

"What are you doing? Let go of my hand. I will have to speak to the boys to kill her then." Raphael shook his head aggressively, clearly against the act. He couldn't bare seeing his beloved mate killed, while he watched on.

"Fine, I will do it myself." Raphael declared, much to his father's surprise. Alpha Norrignton never thought his son would accept the hard hitting fate. Regardless, it was best for everyone that he did.

Raphael got up from the chair, while he watch his father go back to reading the documents he had on his table. Raphael knew he needed to think of something fast, that would evade the hard hitting reality that was about to be bound to his mate. Right before he would leave the room, Alpha Norrignton called back to him.

"Bring evidence." He shook his head and left the room. Raphael walked through the walkway, fully engrossed in his thoughts, when his best pack soldier walked past him.

Lucifer wasn't just a soldier to him, he was his favourite person and also an adviser. The latter had been aware of the arrival of Aliyah.

"What did the Alpha say?" Lucifer asked getting slightly agitated.

"To kill her. Lucifer I can't kill my mate and we are both aware of this." Raphael watched as his friend zoned out completely. Knowing the sort of person Lucifer was, he had a sadistic idea.

"How about we actually knock her out. We could knock her out cold, splash her body with blood and take a picture of it and send to the Alpha. He would fall for the trick." Raphael picked a great idea from Lucifer's idea.

He wasn't just going to knock out Aliyah, he was going to move away with her out of the pack and back into the packs in America. His father's influence had paved way for so much landed properties. He would take hold of a part of the share and run it eventually, while living with Aliyah at the same time; it was a perfect plan.

Aliyah was staring at the rooftop, when the room opened and revealed his mate once again. She noticed his agitation as he walked towards her.

"Listen, we don't have much time. I hope that some day you will understand the reason for my action." Right before Aliyah could question his statement, a hard object came in contact with her head and the world went blank.

Raphael stared at his mate's pitiable condition and hoped that despite going to be knocked out, she would come to terms with his decision.

"Alright Lucifer, get the car ready. I am going to have you take her body to America. Ensure the doctors take good care of her before I returned." He hung up from the call and took shots of Aliyah's lifeless body. He didn't need to go with the blood paint as hr believed his father would accept the evidence he would present.

"I am sorry Aliyah. Soon enough we will be together." He said with a smile, placing a kiss on her fore head and heading out of the room afterwards.

ONE YEAR LATER

After a couple of hours of being styled up, Aliyah was fully set for dinner and staring at the image she was seeing on the mirror, she realized that indeed the beauty that had once been concealed by so much pain and agony, was beginning to reveal itself.

"You are all set." The stylist said with a satisfactory smile on her face. She was glad that once again, her skill set had been put to a great use. "I have to admit, I have styled a couple of women, but you my dear strike me as the best." Aliyah admired the woman's personality and how jovial she could easily be, despite not knowing her.

"Thank you." She said and at that moment, the door opened and one of Raphael pack soldier stepped inside. "I am sorry for barging into the room like that, but the Alpha is slowly getting impatient." Raphael turned and grabbed the purse she had been gifted by the stylist earlier and with one more stare at the mirror, she stepped out of the room, alongside the stylist.

Raphael was pacing around, getting irritated over the fact that he was being delayed. He took punctuality highly serious and this had gone a long way for him in the line of business he operated. When he heard footsteps coming down, he turned around and came face to face with what he presumed was the appearance of a goddess.

He hadn't fully taken in her appearance, while they were in the car due to how dark the car was and also the fact that it was evening too. But seeing her, under the bright rays of the light, all he could do was helplessly stare like a child looking at a candy.

"Sorry we took so much time sir." The stylist's voice pulled him aware from the deep stares he had on Aliyah. "Had to make her look really perfect." Aliyah on the other hand was agitated. For some odd reason she wanted to know what he thought about her outfit.

Raphael walked closer to her and this time, she was comfortable with him being in her space. "You look absolutely gorgeous." He said with admiration written all over his eyes. Aliyah smiled momentarily at the compliment as they were really genuine.

He extended his arms and Aliyah took it and they both left the house in one accord. One of Raphael's car; the Mercedes Benz was parked outside and awaiting for them to step inside. Being a gentleman, Raphael opened the door for Aliyah and she was quite impressed by his courtesy act and got inside the car, before they waltz away.

When they arrived at the exquisite restaurant, Aliyah was once again thrilled by the luxury put in place to build such a restaurant. They were directed to a very reserved part of the restaurant and they waited for the meals to be served.

"So, tell me more about yourself Aliyah." She was thrown aback by the question. Aliyah didn't know how to let him in on her past life. It would be quite unusual because she was the type to have trust issues. Thus, she chose to settle for a more casual lies.

"Well, you already know I am the daughter of Alpha Fiala, of the water wave pack. Whatat else do you need to know again?" Aliyah asked with a shrug. Raphael could see the enigma written all over her face and it was his duty to break through them and see what she was hiding.

"No favourite stuffs? Places you like? Role models, nothing?" Raphael asked.

"I have favourite places and also role models, I didn't know that was the direction your question was taking." She said causally. Raphael was glad he had been given a mate like Aliyah. She was the first woman not really scared of him and it was obvious there was a reason she hadn't protested in going with him in the first place.

While he was about to speak, one of the soldiers burst into the room with a look of agitation on his face. He rushed over to meet Raphael and whispered words, which Aliyah couldn't make out it's meaning as they sounded strange.

Raphael on the other hand was shocked to hear those words come out of the mouth of his soldier. Apparently, one of his father's arch rival in the underground world was in the restaurant and their purpose was to find him.

"I think we need to get out of here at once." Raphael said, standing to his feet. However, it was too late, the door burst opened and several wolves stepped into the reserved area. Raphael swiftly moved over to Aliyah, shielding her away from the men.

"Who would have ever thought the fearless and ruthless man Raphael would be here in a restaurant having a wonderful time with some random bitch?" Those words pissed him off, but he chose to stay calm.

"Anyways, that's not why am here. You and I both know we have a deal to settle. So, hand over my slaves right now or I order my men to blow off your brain." Raphael was in a tight spot. He hated that Aliyah had to see this and from behind, he could feel the fear that had engulfed her seeing the guns around the room.

"This is not where we do business, you and I know that. Let's leave pleasures for pleasures and business for business." He replied calmly. "Bullshit Ralph! Absolute bullshit. All my life, I have waited for the moment to come, where I would have to find you at the perfect spot and kill you and what better way to end your life, than in the midst of your whore of a mate." The leader said once more and this time Raphael had none of it. "First of all I would respect if you don't call my mate a whore. Secondly, I want to assure you one thing Aizar, one of us is going to get out of here alive, while the other would be dead." Aizar laughed hard at the statement made by his rival.

"That's correct Ralph and we both know which of us is going to die." Raphael felt a beep on his phone, which had been in his hands all the while and he observed it was a message from lead pack soldiers, informing him that the men were around. "For the very last time Ralph, hand over my slaves to me right now or be ready to face death." Aizar demanded, while his men cocked their guns aiming them at Ralphael. He looked at every last one of them, calculating their steps and the possiblity of the bullets hitting him and realized what he needed to do.

"Aizar, like I said before; you can go to hell with your men." He pushed the table over the place and dropped Aliyah alongside himself to the ground, while a sporadic shoot out commenced. She was scared of her life as she held on tight to Raphael's suit. Each of the bullets made sounds which gave her the chills down her skin.

After a moment, the shootings stopped and Raphael stayed alert, waiting for what could possibly happen in the next moment. He had a gun in his hand and his first instinct was to shoot the person who he believed could be his enemy. However when the tables were pulled aside, he held back his gun as the familiar face of Lucifer his lead soldier showed up.

"It took you damn long." Raphael commented, helping Aliyah up to her feet, while he cleaned himself up. Aliyah covered her mouth at the sight of blood and had the urge to puke. Raphael had observed her countenance and helped her out of the restaurant.

While they walked towards the car, she observed several familiar black van parked outside and finally got the hint of where she had seen Raphael before now. When they got to the car, he observed Aliyah still had fears written across her face.

"Listen, I didn't expect our first dinner to end up in a blood bath and I will do all the explaining when we get home." Aliyah needed those explanation, she needed to know what she finally signed up for. Just when she thought she was going to slowly live a life of happiness and luxury, fate twisted the entire plot right before her.

When they arrived at their apartment, Aliyah quickly got out of the car and rushed inside the mansion, much to Raphael's disappointment as he knew she was still stricken by the fear of what had happened not quite long ago. "Make sure you clean the mess at the restaurant, before anyone would detect them." He instructed Lucifer who immediately left his sight.

When he stepped inside the living room, there was no sight of Aliyah and he took a wild guess that she would be in her room. He head over to his room and decided to have a quick shower, after which he changed into his night pyjamas. Once he was done, he moved out and head to Aliyah's room. The door was locked and he knocked but there was no response.

She laid on the bed thinking of the entire event that had taken place hours ago. She was close to being dead and with few luck, she was alive. All Aliyah could think of at that moment, was to find a means and be out of Raphael's grasp for good.

While she was still thinking deep about the entire situation, the door literally burst opened and much to her shock, Raphael stepped inside. "You weren't going to answer me anytime and i thought something bad had happened to you." Aliyah checked the door and realized it had been completely damaged. "I will fix that soon enough." He said, after having to follow her gaze. He moved over to the bed side, where Aliyah laid and sat there, watching her.

"Listen, understand that you are really scared and need explanation about the whole thing that happened right there at the restaurant. While I always hoped never to mix pleasure and work, I didn't expect Aizar to come over to that place." This wasn't what Aliyah was willing to hear, all she wanted at the moment was a proper explanation as to who he truly was. Raphael realized that having to make explanation at about the whole restaurant situation wasn't helping and thus, he decided to take another approach.

"Alright, I guess I have to let you in on my identity then." Aliyah turned fully to look at him, awaiting the explanation she much needed to hear. "My name as you already know is Raphael the first son of the Norrignton family, one of the most influential family in all of the Werewolf packs and beyond. My family happen to run several hotels, restaurant and even clubs in parts of several packs, excluding your pack. While I run the family's underground business. The man you saw at the restaurant was Aizar and he happened to be one of my enemies in this business of mine." Aliyah realized she may have been getting herself into something much dangerous than she had expected. If Raphael was truly who he claimed to be, then her life was going to be at high risk every time.

"Aren't you going to say something?" He asked, getting impatient once again by her lack of speech. "What do you expect me to say? All I ever hoped for was a life where I would be at peace and right now, that is exactly not what I am guessing would be the case with you. Being in a position like this, puts me in the position of being a victim and a bait." This was the most words Aliyah had said to him since she arrived and for some odd reason, Raphael could feel hurt in her voice. He grabbed her hands and squeezed them in comfort;

"You don't have to over worry yourself over the situation. I promise you one thing Aliyah, you are fully protected. I have this entire mansion on security watch twenty four hour." She released her hands off his and turned to the other side of the bed. "I want to be left alone." She said and Raphael realized it would take her time to understand that the magnitude of his entire statement.

While he was about heading out, Raphael voice stopped him on the track. "Please make sure you get another door for the room, considering you already broke this one." Raphael smiled and gave her a quick nod, before heading out.
