Sienna's pov

Fear gripped me. My heart drummed hard and I tried to compose myself because I didn't seem to get him well enough.

Maybe I was wrong, maybe I wasn't, but there was definitely something wrong.

“I don't understand what you're trying to say professor."

"What I'm trying to say is simple but we can't talk about it here. Let me have your contact info and I'll talk to you about it later."

My heart skipped a beat and I felt it drop to my stomach. Why did I have a feeling that whatever it was, it would end up being worse than I imagined.

“Here, insert your number."

He grabbed his phone and stared at me in the eyes for a few seconds before extending it to me.

I nodded, taking the phone with shaky hands. I didn't know what he wanted, but I was sure his intention wasn't pure enough.

I dialled my number, passing the phone back to him.

“That will be all, you may go."

I swallowed, not wanting to waste time. I knew that there was a lot of things off. I walked towards the door and just as I was about to grab the handle, he called my attention.

I quickly turned towards him, my eyes meeting his.

“And yes, make sure no one hears about this. Is that alright?”

I nodded like a child, muttering a small thank you before I left the office.

I didn't want to think much on it, wanting to hope for nothing but the best.

Besides, maybe he genuinely picked a good kind of interest in me and wanted to help me on anyway he could.

I tried to flood my head with good thoughts. I knew it was possible for that to happen. There were still good men today.

Once I got far enough,

I texted Eden to assur her I was free from trouble before getting a taxi. However, as soon as I settled in the taxi, my heart bagan to race.

The thought of my father being home and asking me too much questions crossed my mind. I hated the fact that I had to account for everything I did like I was a kid.

As soon as I got home, I noticed how calm the environment was so I walked in freely. However, when I got to the sitting room, I noticed my father sitting.

He acted like I didn't exist and I was thankful, not until I was about to head up the stairs.

“Where the hell have you been?”

I paused before climbing the stairs, my heart drumming. This time I was prepared to go through this without having an arguement with him.

“I went to study late with Eden."

I didn't wait for his response and simply started going up the stairs but he stopped me.

“I'm still talking. Why do I feel like you're lying to me, huh?" He finally lifted his eyes that had been locked on the screen for a long time.

“You should learn what respect feels like. I mean to say there are many things involved now. You're engaged and you have to understand that you aren't a kid anymore. You have to grow up!"

He started yelling again and I held back the urge to roll my eyes. This was one of the reason I left home. My father was always putting so much pressure on me. I had no idea why but I knew I couldn't escape from it.

“You know what? Maybe we should starting monitoring your whereabouts!"

“I told you I was with Eden didn't I? We had a test and I went over to her place after the engagement party. What else do you want from me, huh?"

“Watch your language!" His eyes rested on me. His gaze filled with hate and disgust as always. I was supposed to be used to this by now, but I still hadn't gotten used to the way he treated me.

I felt my heart skip a beat when he yelled at me and I pressed my lips together to prevent myself from crying.

"I have told you serveral times. You're engaged and to be married. You have to always do the right thing, but you, you're never good! You should act like your sister!"

That was it. That was the last straw. I fisted my hands and started stomping my way up the stairs.

“Sienna, sienna!" He yelled, his voice getting thinner as I approached my room. I didn't really care about whatever he had to say. I was done.

I spetmt the rest of my day inside my room listening to my favourite music, and reminiscing on Elias that was until my phone buzzed, pulling me out of my trian of thought.

My brows twisted into knots, wrinkles appearing on my forehead.

I pondered on who's number it could be that was until I picked up the call.

“Hello dear. It's professor Lucas. I was wondering if you're free for us to talk tonight.”

I was stunned and I felt my throat dry up. I tried to talk and for a few seconds I struggled.

"Hello are you there?” I didn't know what to say, but I finally was able to mutter a response.

“Y-yeah. Yes I'm free for us to talk. I have a lot of explaination to do, I'm sure of it."

He laughed. “Yes you do."

I took in a deep breath and got prepared to be able to explain myself when his voice echoed through.

"Great, I'm sending you the address right now.”

My heart stopped and I tried to object but before I could, the call ended, leaving me confused.

I tried to swallow the lump that formed in my throat, but I couldn't. My chest tightened and I wanted to believe there was some kind of mistake.

My phone lit up and I hurried to get a glimpse on what it was. It was a message from same number.

I blinked twice to be able to understand what it said and it was then I saw.

An address of the place we were supposed to meet and a warning at the end.

"COME ALONE.”

Sienna's povI arrived the next day on campus but noticed something off. Only few student in school while others were practically not around. “What the hell is going on?” I pondered as I watched the few student that had strolled in stroll out. Just then, my eyes sighted Eden. She walked towards me as fast as she could, hands resting on my shoulder. “Oh Si, how are you doing?” she asked with raised brows and a worried expression on her face.“Fine, but something's off today. Why's everyone just…”She sighed shaking her head. Then she placed her hand on my shoulder. “You aren't going to believe what I found out.” I furrowed my brows, confusion forming on my face. “What did you find out?” Despite being confused and scared, curiousity was what took over my expression.“You might want to be able to sit for this one.”I nodded, moving towards where she gestured her hand before seating.“What is it girl, talk to me, I feel overwhelmed already. “You're acting like someone died.” “Well

EliasI knew she was no longer safe and was now a major target, but how? No one knew about our relationship. I had made sure of that. Even our engagement was made private to pull her away from the public eye.I watched as she turned pale, staring at me for a solution now when things were getting out of hand, but since she was mine, I promised to handle it.“You've got classes today?” I asked, staring at her. She seemed not to be with me and dragged her feet to a nearby couch before collapsing into it. “No, no, I don't.” She muttered, staring into space. I guess she was still shaken from what she found out. “Look, I already told you I would handle it; can you just trust me?” She snapped her head towards me, worried about the issue. “Do you know how worried I am? I can't seem to think straight. Prof. Lucas isn't someone to be messed with. He knows his ways.” I tilted my head, my eyes dark. Was she more scared of the professor than she trusted me?Tropical.“Fine. Give me one day to

Sienna I swallowed, feeling my body tensed. I wasn't going to be used again. I wasn't going to let him get to me. I turned off my phone and immediately headed to bed, forcing myself to sleep.I woke up the next morning feeling tired. My eyes were heavy, and I snapped my head towards my door, frowning on my face.I pushed myself up, walking towards the door with a strong look on my face. However, as soon as I opened the door, my face turned pale. I didn't know what else to do. I tried to speak when he stepped into the room.“What are you doing here?” He didn't have a smile on his face and closed the door the moment he walked in. “I tried to call you, but your number suddenly went off. You didn't take my calls. Why?”I swallowed, stepping backward while he followed me, staring into my eyes like I owed him something. “I don't know what you're thinking, but we need to talk at my place.” I frowned, crossing my arms over my chest with a dark look in my eyes. “I don't think there's a

Sienna's POVI sprung up from my seat, my heart drumming hard. His eyes showed surprise, and then all of a sudden, his gaze darkened.“I'm sorry, professor. I don't know what you're talking about, and I can't stay here any longer.” He scoffed. “Nonsense,” his tone was sarcastic. “What do you mean you don't know what I'm talking about? Aren't you big enough to take me?”My nose wrinkled in disgust, but a wave of fear caused my blood to run cold. “I’m sorry, sir. I do not know what you're talking about, and I have to leave.” He scoffed. “You know exactly what I'm talking about, but since you claim not to, I'll explain it to you.” He took a sip of his champagne, placing the glass back on the table then he exhaled.“You can be my campus girlfriend. We could meet here on the weekends, and you get to take care of me. That's all. We could end up being good together, and you can pass my course even if you perhaps do not take my exams.” My jaw hung open, and I blinked a couple of times to

Sienna's povShivers ran down my spine the moment I saw that message and I tried to compose myself hoping that it was a place to meet and talk. “Maybe he doesn't want us to be seen in public places together. I tried to make numerous excuses for him. I didn't know what to do. My mind raced, my temperature warmed from the pressure I felt inside. However, no matter how hard I tried to make things seem positive for me I couldn't. The idea of meeting up with a lecturer filled me with dread because I knew how I met Elias. Despite not knowing he was a lecturer back then I still fell into his trap. I didn't want the same mistake. I exhaled but knew I had to go. I couldn't keep a professor waiting or ghost him. Especially with everything that went on in school. I took a deep breath and prepared my heart to meet with him. I grabbed my bag and my phone but I knew I couldn't go out by this time. Dad wouldn't also believe me if I told him I was going to Eden’s place again.“Damn it!" Frustr
