Elaria’s POVI couldn’t remember the last time I had eaten a meal without worrying about what was happening somewhere else or if it was poisoned or not, but having Alaric sitting opposite me, with a calm smile, gave me a sense of peace. Elaria’s POV“This place is nice,” I said, breaking the awkward silence between us since we got here.I couldn’t explain how much peace this place gave me. The villa was small but charming with cream-colored walls covered in climbing flowers and warm lights at the entrance. A small garden of colorful flowers and neatly trimmed bushes surrounded it.A stone path led to the wooden front door, with a small pool overlooking the countryside and an upstairs balcony with two chairs for watching the sunset.
