Isla’s POV

I stood at the edge of our Blue Mountain pack's territory, my eyes fixed on the distant horizon. The morning sun had just begun to peek over the rolling hills, casting a warm glow over the lush forest surrounding us. But the scene's beauty did little to calm the storm of emotions raging within me.

News had arrived from our patrol officers of an impending attack by a rival pack hellbent on conquering our lands and subjugating our people.

My jaw clenched as I recalled the grim details – a massive force of wolves, led by the ruthless Alpha of the Red Claw pack, was marching towards our borders, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
