Amber POV.

Being a princess is fun, you get to wear dresses, and a tiara, go to parties and dance all you want, that's what I thought growing up being a princess means. But now that years have passed and I was under the pressure of being a princess, the pressure of ruling a whole species, I'm not just any princess, I'm the princess of the dragons, I'm a dragon myself.

My name is Amber Draca, her royal highness princess Amber Draca, the princess of the dragons, the next in line to be the strongest ruler in the world, well I'm the strongest Ruler of dragons and the ruler of the whole of the UK. Being the princess also means that I'm not the one to choose my future, mine is written and decided since before my birth, I was meant to marry Prince Oscar, we were born at the same time, and raised together.

Oscar was my childhood crush, my best friend, and my secret holder we did everything together, we learned to fly in our dragon form together, we played in the skies together, and we got engaged to each other.

"Princess, you got another visitor," one of the dragon workers in the palace says coming in to call me, I'm still receiving gifts and congratulations from the dragons, all of our clan is happy for us, but Oscar isn't here to see all the gifts we are receiving, he's off to finish some business in Wales before we head off to London to join the university.

"Hello," I say walking into the throne room, seeing some of the dragon clan standing there, they bowed their head down to me.

"Princess, congratulation to you and the prince," the clan members said bowing their heads down.

"Thank you," I say with a big smile, hoping there won't be another gift, Oscar got a rule of not accepting any live gifts, no cows, sheep, or any other kind of live animals, or any kind of human slaves, we can't take those to university with us, and it'll be rude to leave the gifts behind.

"We got a gift for you and the prince," they say and I had to hold myself back, please don't be another sheep, please don't be another sheep.

"Thank you dears, but you didn't have to get us anything," I say with a smile, trying not to sound too scared that they got us a gift.

"It was our pleasure princess," they say taking a step back, making my gift take a step forward, I screamed on the inside, another live gift? How do I say no to them, again?

"The prince doesn't..." I start saying that the prince doesn't accept live gifts, but then I saw her, the blue eyes, the blond hair with pink streaks blended inside them, they are natural, I know they are, no artificial colour can leave a mark on them.

"How did you get?" I ask confused, and worried, they are rare, very rare.

"Anything to our princess, and prince," the guy says and I nod taking a step closer to my gift, at close she's so innocent and pure, and I know Oscar would never agree to take this gift.

"The prince won't agree to this gift though," I say out loud, knowing Oscar would throw a fit over this.

"We heard about the prince's rule, but he's only refusing the gifts since he can't take the gifts to school with you two," he says, he was completely correct, that was our explanation to why we can't take the live gifts, especially not the humans, I don't like humans, they were never interesting to me, but she's different, I never saw one this close until now

"That's true," I say, out loud, do they have a reasoning behind their gift?

"This one has fallen three days ago, she's not trained yet, by the time she's trained to your pleasure, you'll be back from school, we like to think of it as a wedding and engagement gift," the guy says they did think this through, but one thing they don't know, I'm against the training houses, they are abusers, I growled at them.

"Our gift has offended you?" the guy asks sounding hurt, denying a gift by the princess and prince is very hurtful for the dragons, we are creatures of pride.

"No, it didn't, I accept your gift," I say with a smile while my gift stood there confused.

"We'll get her to the training house then," the guys say happily.

"Don't you dare, I'll be the one training her," I say quickly, they looked at me confused, I just broke my mate's rule.

"But the prince," they say.

"I and the prince would prefer to train her ourselves, a precious gift as this one, we can't send her off to some training house, she can stay with us," I say holding my gift hand and smiling at her, but she seemed to be scared.

"We are glad you accepted our gift, thank you, your highness," the guy says bowing their head to me, leaving the room, leaving me alone with my gift, Oscar is going to kill me, but I'll worry about that later, he won't be joining me for a while.
