Sera’s POV

Millie moved towards the food tray and removed the lids on the dishes. A pleasant, mouth-watering aroma wafted around the living area and filled every inch of the room.

We were having a feast. Cindy had outdone herself this time—the dishes overflowed with sizzling brisket, paired with a serving of potato salad with apple juice.

Cindy placed a plate before me, and my mouth watered. I hadn’t realised I was so famished.

An even more enticing aroma drifted into my nose as I prepared to dig in. The thick scent of wood and musk hit me just as chaotic footsteps came from the stairs.

Draco appeared at the top of the stairs in his full glory, looking fresh and well-rested. I struggled to look away, barely even paying attention to Sebastian, who had also appeared together.

The pull of the mate bond was so strong that I struggled to resist.

As more members of Draco’s team followed in their alpha’s wake, I struggled not to look in his direction.

They all settled in as Cindy finished se

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Ruthless

Lucian’s POVThe metallic scent of blood clung to the air as I stood over the lifeless body that was Alpha Magnus. He lay there, unmoving, his throat torn apart, open for all to see. It was the aftermath of one of the quickest battles I’d fought since I started training as an enforcer as a teenage pup.“Clear the area,” I said, turning to Garrett, my Beta, who’d remained standing afar off, unable to stomach the gruesome sight. The Rose Moon Pack had been weaker than I’d expected, and that had made it easier. For a full-blown pack with one of the largest teams of enforcers, their form had been weak, their foundation non-existent.How pathetic, I thought, letting out a disdainful snort.I turned to glance around the enormous expanse of land in the Rose Moon Pack and I closed my eyes, taking in a deep breath.I filled my lungs with the smell of victory. This victory was another step towards my goal- to dominate the entire Werewoods. Then even the strongest Alpha, Draco, would have nothin

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Scheming

Ralf’s POV“Lord, we’ve gotten a report that the Council gave a decree to merge the Still Moon Pack with the Silva Moon Pack…”“What?”I jerked up from my wooden throne seat with enough force that the wound on my torso which I’d sustained in the fight with the Still Moon Pack tore open with blood gushing out.The pain was so intense that I was tempted to bend over and fall to my knees, but I wasn’t alone.I couldn’t afford to show weakness. Not with so many rogues watching like hawks.Ready to swoop in at any sign of weakness.Gritting my teeth to endure the pain, I turned to my subordinate, Thomas, who stood quietly, eyeing my open wound.I swiftly covered up the open wound, determined to ignore his questioning look.“A merger, you say?” I asked, too preoccupied with this absurd information to care about the knowing look in Thomas’ eyes.Thomas was a capable asset when needed, but he could be stubborn and unrelenting in his views. I could see in his eyes that he still thinks I should

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Let’s Play

A nondescript room in the Still Moon PackThe door opened, and a young female shifter walked into the room, then turned to say goodbye to the others at the door.“I wouldn’t be long. Meet you guys downstairs in 30 minutes,” are delicate voice sounded as she told the other female shifters. She entered the room with an innocent smile, closing the door behind her after giving her company a cheerful wave. The door slid shut with a click, and the smile was gone from her face. In its place was a malevolent gaze so chilling that the room was devoid of all warmth.A broad mirror, placed just to her right, reflected her gaze, which could make the hairs on anyone’s neck stand erect. She turned and surveyed the room, examining each of its contents like seeing it for the first time. The room had moderately mismatched furniture that looked worn. The plump couch had a little nip by the side, like it had been repeatedly scratched with a sharp object and a little foam was poking out of the hole. The

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Draco’s Speech

Sera’s POV“Sera? What’s wrong?” Millie asked, her concern reflected in her tone.I snapped out of my daze to find Draco and the rest staring at me with a look of confusion, and I realized that I’d remained standing in my daze while the entire pack watched. With a painful smile as bitter as a grimace and a distracted wave to deflect the pack from my state, I took my seat just as the applause died down.Once I was seated and Millie took over, Draco placed his hand on my trembling hands, and I turned to him, finding reassurance in his eyes.I hadn’t even noticed that my hands were shaky until that moment. It made me realize how much that venomous gaze had unsettled me.“You are safe with me, Sera. Trust me,” he said, and only after watching his lips remain unmoving did I realize that my mate had used the mind link. The rest of the team watched me with their confusion still etched in their features, Seb and Bruno especially.I only hoped they didn’t think me a weak mate for their beloved

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Malice

Sera’s POVOnce the applause had died down and Draco had taken his seat, everyone turned to the dish before them. The dish was displayed, and a tantalizing aroma filled the hall.Everyone appeared pleased by what was on their plate, and I saw Cindy and Freya let out sighs of relief at the end of the table.I turned to my dish with an amused smile.Breakfast was ground turkey pasta, and some freshly squeezed fruit juice, and I dived into my meal with much gusto.Silence fell over the hall, and only the clinking of cutlery on dishes broke the quiet as everyone ate.Cindy and the others stood and began clearing the dishes once everyone was done with their meal. The chatter returned as the pack members, now filled with good food, regained their vigor and began discussing the first pack meeting to be held today as a new pack. The hall gradually emptied as everyone moved to the meeting hall and I wondered if it would fit the entire pack.Millie came over to my side as I watched Cindy, Freya

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   An Unnamed Pack

Sera’s POV“The alphas are here,” a voice came from the crowd in the dining area, once Draco and I appeared through the doorway. I had left the room with my mate trailing behind me, only for me to discover that the pack I knew no longer existed. The Still Moon Pack had disappeared and was replaced by this new pack. A pack which was still unnamed and felt so foreign to me I didn't know what to do with it.I glanced around the hallway just beyond the room, and the sea of unfamiliar faces that greeted me almost made me dizzy. The hallway, which was usually serene, was filled with people hanging around each corner, and I noted a few familiar faces in the sea of unfamiliar faces. The members of the Still Moon Pack who were never in the pack were all home today. And judging by the look of excitement on their faces as they chatted with the new pack members, they were more excited by the prospect of filling up the pack than the protection which came with the merger.“Alpha Draco, Alpha Sera
