Chapter 33 - Mark

I’m lying in bed with my eyes closed. The alarm is about to go off any minute now. Ugh.. Why so soon?

I want to continue to keep my eyes closed and enjoy the warmth of Katie’s naked body pressed up against me. Her slow rhythmic breathing is like music to my ears. After being away from her for so many years, I just can’t get enough of her.

Reluctantly, I reach over to her phone and check the time.

I’m right. We have five minutes before her alarm goes off.

Time goes just too fast.

I turn off her alarm and gently nudge her. “Katie. Sweetheart. It is time to get up. Come on. Let’s take a bath.”

She groans in her sleep and wiggles against me. Her movements instantly have my body igniting into fire.

I kiss the top of her head and rub her back. “Baby, if you continue to move around like that, I can guarantee you won’t be able to walk very well today and you will definitely be late for work. So, let’s get up and get a bath.” My voice drops with each word as her alluring body
