Max's POVI walked downstairs from my room after preparing for the day with a straight expression. Today was one of the days when I woke up in a sour mood for no reason. I was glad I had already taken Sammie away from me else she would have probably annoyed me even more.I kind of missed having her as my pillow though. Max's POVMy head... My head felt so heavy like I was carrying a block of lead on it. There was not a single light in sight so I couldn't see anything but pitch darkness.'Everywhere isn't dark stupid, your eyes are closed! Narrator's POVEverywhere was completely dark in the woods until the blue precipitate in the area which had been the base of the river of Wolf's Crest suddenly began glowing purple.The purple glow remained in that area throughout the long cold night and finally faded away sometime around dawn only to reveal a muddy soil. Max's POVI couldn't feel my legs anymore after only a few minutes of running. I had gotten so exhausted that I had to mentally cut them off. Moving into this daze of hunger was even more difficult than I had imagined.I felt like I was going to drop down soon but surprisingly, less than halfway through my first run, the mental weight on my head disappeared. Sammie's POVMy eyes suddenly flipped open and I blinked as I looked around me to see that everywhere seemed dark. Did I wake up too early?I had the strangest dream ever while sleeping. Actually, it seemed like I had two dreams but was that even possible? Maybe it was more like scenes flashing through my head.My first dream... What happened in the first dream though?
