Charlotte’s POV

A woman pulled me aside in the hotel hallway as I was going to our room, she introduced herself as someone who used to love Sebastian and still carried the scars.

I had stepped out to change my outfit to something more comfortable. She was waiting near the reception. Dark hair. Calm eyes. She looked at me like she already knew everything.

“I see you’re his new girl,” she said quietly. “I’m Elena. I used to be where you are.”

My stomach dropped. “I don’t know what you’re talk

  • Her Stepfather’s Obsession     Lay Low

Charlotte’s POV Sebastian told me we had to stop, no more hotels, or any form of risks at all because someone was following him. I nodded… and then texted him a dirty photo two hours later. He had pulled me into the garage after Mom went upstairs. His voice was low and tight. “There’s a private investigator trailing me. I can feel it. I noticed a particular car always following me, the same guy at the coffee shop near the office. We have to cool off. So that nothing can be used against us.” I agreed. Mom already found my diary. She was watching us like a hawk. One more mistake and everything would blow. Two hours later I was in my room horny with my legs spread, phone in hand, sending him a picture of my fingers inside myself. Caption: I can’t stop thinking about you. He called instead of texting back. “Charlotte. What did I just say?” “I know. I’m sorry. I just… I need you.” Silence on the line. Then a rough exhale. “One time. Just this one after that we stop until th

  • Her Stepfather’s Obsession    Anonymous Delivery

Stacy’s POV A package arrived at my doorstep without a name attached to it and when I opened it, I saw photos of my husband and daughter leaving a hotel together. I was sitting at the kitchen island with a glass of wine when my phone buzzed, I checked it and saw a message notification requesting that I go pick up the surprise waiting for me at my doorstep. At first I asked our security if he saw anyone come in and he said no. The first photo showed Sebastian’s hand resting on Charlotte’s back as they walked out of a hotel lobby. The second caught them near a car, with her face turned up toward him in a way no stepdaughter should look at her mother’s husband. All the photos had timestamps and different dates My hands started shaking. The wine glass tipped and spilled across the counter. I didn’t clean it up. My free hand curled into a fist so tight, I wanted to throw the phone. I wanted to drive to wherever they were and scream until my voice gave out. Then it dawned on me

  • Her Stepfather’s Obsession    Warnings Issued

Sebastian’s POVDaniel thought he could protect Charlotte from me. He learned otherwise in a quiet parking lot.I waited by his car until he finished his late shift at the campus library. When he saw me he stopped short, keys still in his hand.“We need to talk,” I said.He tried to look brave. “About Charlotte? She’s my friend. If something’s wrong…”“She’s not your concern.” I kept my voice even. “Because you saw us outside the hotel. It doesn’t mean you should start making silly assumptions.”Daniel swallowed. “I just don’t want her hurt.”I stepped closer. “Then stay away from her. Don’t try to play smart with me. If I hear you’ve spoken to her again, I’ll make sure your life at that school becomes very difficult. Understood?”He nodded once, face pale. I left him standing there under the streetlight, and drove off. Only for me to drive back to solidify my threat.“Hey kid, Incase you don’t know. I have pictures of you working at a club as a stripper against your mom’s wish. You d

  • Her Stepfather’s Obsession     Failed Rescue

Charlotte's POV My friend Daniel cornered me at school and told me he knew something was wrong with me and my stepfather and that he was going to “save” me whether I wanted it or not. He waited by my car after the last class. His face was tight. “I saw you,” he said without preamble. “Leaving that hotel with him. Your stepfather. I knew you were hiding so I waited for you to come out.” “I…I… why would I hide? I went to get something.” I stuttered trying to defend myself. “The way your step father touched you. How you looked at him. You know it’s not normal, Charlotte.” My stomach dropped. “You don’t know what you saw.” “I’m not dumb.” He stepped closer. “You’re into your old man. It’s either he’s using you. Or you’re both in too deep. I’m telling your mom if you don’t get out of it. Or I’ll confront him myself.” Panic mixed with anger. “Stay out of it, Dan. You have no idea what you’re talking about.” “I’m trying to help you.” “I don’t need your help.” I left him standing t

The way he makes you feel like the only person who can give him what he needs. I know the feeling. I used to be in your position.” I tried to step past her. She didn’t block me, she just spoke softer. “He destroys the women who get close. Not with fists though. With need and control… With the way he makes you addicted to being the only one who can satisfy the dark parts of him. When he’s done… you’ll

  • Her Stepfather’s Obsession    Wrong Hotel

Sebastian’s POV We rented a private apartment for the weekend so we could finally stop looking over our shoulders after Mr Lang gave us quite a scare, then a last-minute problem forced us into a hotel instead, and I felt eyes on us the moment we walked in. Stacy’s last-minute conference gave us the opportunity we needed. She left Thursday night. Friday afternoon I drove Charlotte to the short-term apartment I’d booked under a different name. We drove in excited to have some fun outside the house since Stacy wouldn’t be around for the weekend. I was about to step out of my car when my phone buzzed. The building’s management number. “Mr. Hale? This is the front desk regarding your reservation.” I stepped away from Charlotte. “What’s the problem?” “There’s been a scheduling error. Your booking was entered for Saturday and Sunday, not Friday and Saturday. I’m very sorry. The unit is currently occupied until tomorrow afternoon.” I pinched the bridge of my nose. “You’re telling me
