Teagan's Point of View

"Did you call him?" I asked, looking over my shoulder at Ulrich.

He was sprawled out on the back seat of the car. Took up more space than he needed to. It almost looked like he was trying to hide.

But Bellamy was driving. Had insisted that we all go to my parents instead of just the two of us. For backup or to keep me from strangling my parents, I wasn't sure.

"He is on his way there. Just picked up some clothes at the store and showered." Ulrich said and caught my eyes in the rearview mirror.

Harland.

The one man I wasn't entirely comfortable seeing yet. The one man that broke my heart. Who let our parents get into his head all those years ago and never got rid of them.

I needed him there when I confronted them. When I made my rageful entrance and strangled both of them for putting us through all of this.

Fine.

Maybe Ulrich had come along to keep me from killing them. Bellamy could keep Harland at bay. Because I knew for a fact that we both wanted their blood
