Adelia's Point of View

Tossing in bed was my new hobby in life. Wondering where Siya was came in close at second place.

My mind wandered to him, not my escape, more than I cared to admit. It was infuriating. Distracting. Especially when I knew that Phaedra would be here in the next 48 hours. Or less.

The time frame for my escape was closing swiftly and here I was, awake in the middle of the night, pining after her most prized lap dog.

"This is insufferable," I groaned and turned onto my stomach. The cool sheets wrapped around my cheek. Broke some of the heat from my thoughts.

"Tell me about it," A deep voice answered from the door.

Flying up, I narrowed my eyes into the darkness. Waited a second for my vision to adjust. "What the fuck are you doing in here?" I asked, unable to stop my voice from wavering a bit.

Siya was shirtless. Stood in the door like a pillar of beautiful ebony. His shoulder was pressed against the frame. Eyes keenly on me.

"Last I checked, this was my room."
