Adelia's Point of View

The garden emptied on a phantom wind. Syphered away without so much as a word.

And I was left to face an angry Siya on my own.

How wonderful.

"What do you think you are doing?" He asked again, grinding his teeth in the process.

My eyes snapped up at his. All of my emotions drained out of my features.

But I couldn't forget the feel of him. How he held me up against that wall last night. The way he stormed off when I didn't give him exactly what he wanted.

"I just wanted to know the time. Is that a crime? If so, need I remind you of yours?" I threw back and aimed to leave. Slip right past him and go back to his room.

The only place no one else would bother me.

Deft fingers launched forward and gripped my upper arm.

Cold eyes snapped towards his fingers on me. Disdain shifted my face. Lip curled upward.

All a farce. Because just the feel of them caused immense pleasure. Pleasure I had no intention of following through on. But it was there and it was hard to ignore
