“You shouldn’t have bothered trying to get an alliance mate when you already had a woman warming your bed,” Tania said with an ugly smile on her face as she stared at Justin.

“There’s no such relationship between us.” Justin defended as he walked to the nearest seat and sat down, probably to show her that he could walk on his own but Tania scoffed in anger, she obviously didn’t believe him neither did she care for his seemingly little achievement.

It was hard to understand, was it that the goddess had a sense of humor or Justin was just too pitiful? He was mated to a woman who despised him at first sight. It was too painful. Connor thought and sighed.

“Why don’t I take you to your room Miss Tania?” Connor chirped in, wanting to solve the tension in the air.

“There’s no need for that. I’m leaving.” Tania said, her eyes not leaving Justin’s. “I am going to reject him right now and walk away from this pack.”
