Her Weak Alpha

“Henry!”

“Henry!!”

"Henry!!!"

Tania’s angry shriek echoed through the corridors of the mansion as she hurried along it, her face twisted in anger and her plump red lips pursed in a thin fine line. Her upturned buttock and thin waist twisted violently as she walked. One look at her behind, and one would wonder if she were a model on a runway.

She threw open the door to the Alpha’s office almost scaring the man who had been lost in thoughts out of his seat, he didn’t hear her shout at all.

“Tania?" 

He was shocked to see her, his eyes involuntarily sized her up, from the denim button-down shirt she wore while leaving two of the buttons open, giving one a peek of her white sexy cleavage, to the high waist black shorts which barely made it to half of her thigh accentuating her long straight legs that were enhanced by the seven-inch heels on her feet. 

 He swallowed. This woman.... Why was she coming into his office dressed like this, he wondered as he checked her out, but the moment he met her fiery eyes he froze, almost as if snapping back to his senses.

What point was she trying to make always dressing like this, was she trying to show off to all the men in the pack that they could not have her no matter how they lust after her? The thought of that made him burn with anger.

 "What the hell are you doing barging into my office?” Alpha Henry roared at her, but Tania gave no response as she continued to approach him with a stern face.

 For a minute he thought she was going to grab him and he raised his hand to protect his head, setting himself into a defensive mode, but much to his surprise all she did was throw the letter she had been holding in her hand on the table angrily.

“Why don’t you tell me what the hell is this?” She instructed Alpha Henry, who sighed with relief before glancing at the letter on his table.

He didn’t bother to check the content of the letter. It was written by him after all, he just didn’t expect it to be delivered to her so quickly.

 He rested back in his chair, “It is exactly what it said.”

“You’re crazy right?”

“Mind your language, Tania!”

“Damn you!”

“I said mind your language, I am your Alpha!” Alpha Henry slammed the table as he rose to his feet.

“To hell with you Alpha!” Tania shouted back stunning Alpha Henry, “Who says you have the right to decide who I get mated to? An alliance-mate? You have the nerve to recommend me for this shit?”

“You’re the best candidate to go...”

“By what standard? By what standards did you choose my candidacy? By the fact that I refused to be your Luna?”

Henry's eyes darken, even though he regretted coveting this thorny beauty, there was nothing he could do to change what he had done. He sighed, trying to calm his temper.  “That was all in the past, it has nothing to do with this,” 

“Then tell me why I get to be traded to another pack out of all the useless she-wolves in this pack!” Tania asked, not lowering her momentum even though the Alpha was trying to speak to her calmly.

 Alpha Henry was four months older than her and had succeeded his father as Alpha two months ago, his first act as the new Alpha was to ask his long-time crush, Tania to become his mate and Luna, but was mercilessly rejected by her.  Actually, Tania was the crush of a lot of strong men in the pack, the best men coveted her since the weaker ones were not even worthy. 

Ever since they had been in school, she had always rejected him and did not hesitate to show him that she looked down on him, but the more he felt she was hard to get the more he wanted her, who knew that even after he became Alpha, the highest seat of authority, this seductive bitch still rejected him.

A month later, however, he found his true mate, who just turned eighteen, and named her Luna instead.

“You should give some respect to my sister Alpha.” Tania mocked.

“Enough Tania!” Alpha Henry slammed his palm on the table again. “You know this has nothing to do with that.”

Yes, her rejection might have embarrassed him but that was not the reason why he had chosen to send her away, the reason was simple, her attitude.

This unruly attitude of hers was a threat to the pack’s safety and he couldn’t sit here and watch a ticking time bomb parade his pack grounds.

Tania was strong, born one and raised as one, one look at her and one would know that her mate was certainly going to be an Alpha. She belonged to that set of people who were either the pack leader or would be a danger to the pack, still when offered the position, she disdained it.

If she hadn’t been so aware of her strengths, if she had acted a little humbler, maybe she would have been a huge asset to the pack but a woman like her was bound to bring the war to this pack in the future if she stayed here, she dressed seductively all day, attracting bees and butterflies, but refused to be under any man, even the insecure-she-wolves in the pack were complaining about her now. 

As of the time he asked her to be his mate, he was giving her two options, stay as a leader or leave. She unknowingly chose the latter. He knew that even if he had told her then what was at stake then she would still choose the latter.

His frown deepened at his thought, and he replied, “If I say you go, then you go Tania.”

“Says, who?”

“Says me! Your Alpha!” Henry roared in anger, showing his wolf but Tania glared at him with equal intensity refusing to bow, neither was she intimidated.

“You know it is useless to use those petty tricks on me, you coward.” She replied.

Henry was stunned and even more annoyed, he failed to understand why the rebellion in this woman’s heart could not be curtailed no matter how much they tried, worse still, no one in the pack could beat her or keep her under check.

“I would tell you this once and you had better listen to me carefully, Alpha.” She called mockingly and Henry stared at her. “I am going nowhere. You should look for someone else for the job.” Tania said and turned to leave, but stopped again.

“And also,” She turned to him, “If you are doing this because you are still hurt by my rejection then you are worse than a coward and do not deserve to be an Alpha.”

 Henry gritted his teeth as he listened to Tania speak to him as 

if she was an elder and he, a little child,  he regretted it,  Damn, he regretted ever approaching this witch and asking her to be his Luna. He was so stupid. He only fell in love with her strength and beauty in the past and decided to ignore her unruliness, but now he knew, she was nothing but trouble to any pack she went to, it was best if that pack was not theirs

“If you refuse to obey the orders of your Alpha, then I see no reason why you should still be a member of this pack,” Henry said with resolution.

 Tania, who had just arrived at the door, stopped, she was stunned as she turned to him, “What is that supposed to mean?”

“Exactly what it sounds like, you either go to Wild Willows pack as an alliance mate or be banished from the pack.”

Tania laughed sarcastically then gritted her teeth in anger, “You wouldn’t dare!”

“You can watch me and see if I dare not. Since you like being so unruly the likes of you do not belong in a pack.” Henry told her and she fell silent.

It was true if Tania was sent away from this pack, no pack would ever be able to accept a woman who was so irresistible and would still not bow to their Alpha, as a member of their pack. But no matter how unruly she was, no one would prefer to face the wind and storms of living as a rogue.

Which leaves her with only one choice.

Seeing her wavering, Henry felt pleased with himself, he had won this, “Prepare to leave tomorrow morning.” He said quickly,  it was better if she left quickly before she could think of a good counter-act to stop his plan.

Tania gritted her teeth in anger, ruining the shape of her beautiful face, she walked back to the table and picked up the letter then smiled sinisterly, “Then I would present you a gift before I leave, Alpha Henry.”  With that, she walked out of the room.

 Henry’s heart quivered in fear, he wondered what trouble she was planning to cause, to repay him. She wouldn’t try to assassinate him now would she? He wondered and immediately opened the pack link, calling all the patrols to strengthen security around the mansion, he couldn’t fall prey to a vicious woman like Tania.

Tania threw open her box and got busy throwing all her clothing into it angrily, she couldn’t believe the nerve of that weak Alpha, he dared threaten her? Did he think she was scared of the wild? Did he think she was like those useless pack members who were scared of leaving the safety of the pack?

 He should have asked about her history well, she wasn’t scared of that nonsense. Just he watch her. She sneered, venting her anger on the clothes that she threw into the box.

 Her door opened and a blond girl walked in to see this scene.

"Can't you knock?" Tania spoke harshly the moment she saw the girl.

It was none other than her step-sister Kaila, who just clocked eighteen this month and had become the pack Luna almost immediately, as they found she was the Alpha's true mate.

“I'm sorry, Tania, I was too anxious.” She spoke softly in response, a sharp contrast to the harsh words of Tania and she didn't look mad at her reaction at all.

 She looked up at Tania who didn’t even spare her a glance and followed her action, her eyes showing disbelief when she saw all things thrown messily into the box.

“Is it really true?” She asked and Tania glanced at her again.

“What do you think?” She snorted in reply and Kaila bowed her head shamefully.

Kaila was one of those innocent beauties, she had a small face, and she looked cute when she smiled, making everyone want to take care of her. So it was easy for the pack to accept such a kind-hearted and soft-spoken person as their Luna. She was different from the cold and serious-faced Tania whose beauty was unattainable, Tania was also the one who was not moved by her sister's kindness or cuteness.

“B...but I don’t understand, why are you being sent away?” Kaila asked. She had heard the rumor in the pack when she was coming home today and found it unbelievable.

“Shouldn’t you ask your mate that question?” Tania sneered and Kaila looked at her with guilt.

“Tania…, I didn’t know anything about this.”

“Like I care?” Tania threw at her a raised brow and continued with her violent packing, while Kaila stood there looking pitiful.

“...Tania…, do you hate me?”

“It took you this long to find out?” Tania asked her bluntly as if she was stunned. “Weak people like you disgust me.”

Kaila smiled weakly and patted her chest in relief, “That is good. For a moment I was scared you blamed me for accepting Henry.”

 Tania continued packing without giving any response in reply. She didn’t have time for petty talks, but Kaila didn’t mind either. Tania hated every person she felt was not as strong as herself, which meant she hated every single person in the pack. 

Her hatred was nothing personal.
