Their father's will

The alarm began to whirl in its wake. Bryan was woken by the alarm, but he is not satisfied with his sleep; his head is still placed on the pillow, and his eyes are still closed. Not wanting to wake up by the alarm, which was disturbing him from having a wonderful rest, he hit the alarm and flung it on the floor as he moaned and pleasantly continued to sleep.

There was a loud knock at the door, but then his brother was also fast asleep in their rooms.He thought he was dreaming with his eyes shut down; he thought that knock was coming from his dream, but the knocking persisted. It distracted him from having a wonderful rest.

After a moment of being disturbed by the knock, he opened his eyes.

The morning sun swarmed through his window, making his room so bright. He used his hand to clear the junk that had accumulated in his eyes. Sluggishly standing up, he walked directly to the door.

“Who it is?’’ with his voice so brittle, he asked, wondering who it is that came visiting at this tim
