Eva woke up in the hotel bed, her heart sinking as she realized Brayan was no longer by her side. He had slipped away before the morning light, off to tend to his business affairs. As she lay there, the emptiness of the room mirrored the ache in her heart. She couldn't shake the feeling of longing that washed over her, wishing he were still there beside her. With a heavy sigh, she wrapped herself in the memories of their time together, yearning for the warmth of his presence to chase away the loneliness that now engulfed her.

Restless and unsettled, Eva stirred from her slumber, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. Then it hit her that Brayan left without telling her goodbye.

“It's just for three days, why am I feeling like he won't be coming back?” she sobered. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness at his absence, a longing for his presence that lingered like a shadow in the corners of her mind.
