It's time to let her go

Letting her go might be hard but it was definitely the best thing to do. Richard had thought several times about what to do with their marriage, as it was now he was more willing to sign the divorce. Accepting another man's proposal cut deeper than other things. The best was to give up on her. He had done wrong, he admitted that he was guilty but Charlene was so adamant, he doubted if it was worth all the stress.

It seemed like the whole history was about to repeat itself. However, he wouldn't allow what happened to Miguel to happen to Daniella. A day turned into weeks, he hadn't heard from her until Bryant mentioned Charlene getting married.

Richard dabbed his lashes, perplexed. “Who's getting married?”

“Charlene. Rowan told me and I sent my blessings.”

“When? Charlene didn't tell me anything. Goodness, I need to talk to her right now.” Richard sprung up in a jolt, alerting Bryant's suspicion.

“What's the matter?”

“There's something I need to tell her and it's urgent, dad.”
