«CLARA’S POV»

When I woke up in the hospital ward, the first thing I felt was pain. A dull, throbbing ache that seemed to pulse with every beat of my heart. My belly hurt the most, a sharp, stinging reminder of what Ophelia had done to me.

I winced, my hand moving instinctively to the spot where she stabbed me. The bandages were tight, and the skin beneath it felt tender, raw.

But thanks to whatever pain relief Brandon had given me, it was bearable. I could breathe without wanting to scream.

The last thing I remembered was Adrian catching me just before everything went black. His arms around me, the sound of his voice–panicking, desperate, calling my name. It should’ve been Lusaka in my mind, but it wasn’t. It was Adrian.

And when I opened my eyes, hoping—maybe even expecting—to see him sitting beside me, all I found was Lusaka.

I don't know why but a wave of disappointment which I hadn't expected hit me.

Meanwhile, Lusaka was smiling so wide, his eyes glistening with disbelief as

«THIRD POV»“Bastard!” Adrian roared, his voice dark and guttural, not entirely human anymore.Without hesitation, his form exploded into his massive black wolf, Magnus, fur shimmering like obsidian, eyes burning like molten gold. Lusaka, in his brown wolf form, lunged toward him in response, snarling ferociously. The clash was violent. Two powerful wolves with too much hatred, too much fury, and too much to lose. They collided with a sickening crash that sent vibrations through the ground, sharp claws slicing the air, fangs gnashing and tearing. The sounds of snarls, snapping jaws, and bone-jarring impacts filled the air, drowning out even Jasmine’s terrified cries. “S-stop!” She shrieked, scrambling backward, tripping over herself as blood sprayed across the floor. Both men pounced violently, wrestled, and slammed each other into the walls, the stones cracking beneath the weight of their savage bodies. Deep fissures split the walls as dust and debris fell like rain.Magnus w

  • Hers To Ruin: Too Late For Regrets Alpha!    He kissed me

«CLARA’S POV»It was a fresh morning, I sit in the garden for breakfast with Savanna, Ravenanna, and Brandon. Sweet roses smell in the air, but I still feel trapped in my chest. The last few days have been too much and worse, I keep remembering the image of Adrian and Jasmine kissing, and it hurts me.I hated it. I hated he always affected me this much. Why? Why can't I seem to forget this man? For a moment, the atmosphere suddenly turns quiet. Savanna and Brandon stop speaking, and I threw a look at them, raising my brow, silently asking them what’s wrong. But none could answer. They could only lower their eyes in unease and apprehension. Then Ravenanna leans forward, anger swimming on her face. “What is he doing here?! Don't tell you guys settled the scores last time?” She hisses. What? I frowned. What the hell is she saying? I was confused. So, I followed the directions behind my back where she was pointing. It was then I saw him. Adrian was walking toward us. He was in all

«CLARA’S POV»The garden was deadly silent… until it wasn’t. Gasps erupted around us, loud and disbelieving, as Adrian’s lips crashed against mine in front of everyone. For a moment, I couldn’t move. My body was frozen, my mind reeling. Adrian’s lips had been on mine—warm, demanding, and achingly familiar. Against my will, my heart had leapt, my traitorous body responding before my thoughts could catch up. For one terrifying, exhilarating moment, I forgot everything. The betrayal. The resentment. The pain. There was only him—the warmth of his mouth, the familiar scent of his skin, the way my body responded before my mind could catch up. I hated that part of me… the part that wanted more. My body, without permission, reacted to him. The kiss had me paralyzed. His lips now become rough and desperate against mine, grounding me in place, making my stupid heart react when it shouldn’t have.A small, traitorous part of me even wanted him not to stop. «CLARA’S POV»"Clara, we already sorted out our issues. Can't you let Ophelia go?" Adrian turned and pleaded on Ophelia’s behalf. His voice was calm, but it only made my blood boil hotter. Ha! So now he’s protecting her? Of course he is. I was stupid to ever think he cared about me. All this time, he was just playing games. I laughed bitterly inside."No, I won’t let her off!" I snapped, stepping closer, daring him to try and stop me.Ophelia whimpered and hid behind Adrian, clutching his shirt like a scared pup. She started talking in her low, pitiful voice, pretending to be sorry.”It’s okay, Adrian," she said in a fake, trembling voice. "If Clara wants to punish me, I’ll accept it. I was the one who acted blindly and hurt her… I... deserve it"Pathetic. Her act didn’t fool me. She wasn’t sorry. She was just scared—scared of what I’d do now that I wasn’t holding back anymore. Too bad for her. I was done playing nice! “Clara, let her go,” Adrian said again, looking at me se

«CLARA’S POV»Adrian ran after Ophelia, but she had already disappeared out of sight. He rounded a corner just in time and spotted her running into a room that didn’t belong to her. In the blink of an eye, Adrian reached the door and tried to open it, but it was locked from the inside. "Ophelia, open the door!" His fists pounded hard on the door, his voice commanding. There was no answer. He raised his hand, ready to break the door down if he had to. But then, he heard her voice from inside, stopping him halfway. "I’m fine, Adrian… just… just go," Ophelia said weakly. But Adrian could tell she was pretending. Her voice sounded strained, too low and forced. "Last chance. Are you hurt?" He asked one last time. Truth was, Adrian didn’t care about Ophelia’s feelings. He didn’t actually care. Not after everything she’d done to Clara. But he needed answers. Earlier he'd asked Clara to forgive Ophelia only because he wanted to handle her himself. Back then in the garden

It was a night to celebrate the upcoming war that they believed they would win easily. Alphas from many different packs had gathered together. They were proud, confident, and loud. They were ready for war. Their warriors had trained day and night. Their weapons had been sharpened and polished. Food was in large supply, more than enough for everyone to eat until they were full. The scent of roasted meat filled the air. Wine flowed like rivers into golden cups. Music played from the corners of the hall, and the heavy drums made the ground shake a little. Warriors and alphas raised their cups high, cheering loudly. In a quiet, hidden corner inside the pack hall, Ryan stood silently. His eyes were sharp and cold as he watched the celebration in front of him. He saw naked women dancing sedutively for the alphas, swingi

Meanwhile, Marcus lay flat on the ground outside the hall, bleeding and barely breathing. His once-proud wolf form now looked weak, trembling and broken. Blood soaked into the dirt beneath him, and his fur was ripped in many places. “Haha, scared to kill me?” He growled lowly, his voice full of tease, but the sound held no strength.“I want to torture you so hard you'd beg for death before I kill you, Marcus…” Magnus stood tall above him. His body was huge, muscles stretched tight with rage. His eyes glowed gold, wild and burning with fury. His chest rose and fell heavily, breath coming in rough puffs. He wanted to kill. To end this. Their proud faces turned pale, and their bodies tensed as if danger had just entered the hall. Disbelief was written on their faces. Clara noticed their sudden change. Something she didn’t know yet… Andromeda, who always looked calm and full of control, suddenly snapped. “This can’t happen!” she shouted, her eyes sharp with anger and shock as she rushed toward Adrian. “How did you get out of the silver chains?!” Clara gasped loudly, her eyes jumping to Adrian. “Silver chains?” she whispered to herself in disbelief. «CLARA’S POV»Night had fully fallen. The sky was dark like a giant black beast, spreading over everything. The air was cold and quiet. Every step we took was careful. Silent. The leaves under our feet barely made a sound. We had moved deep into the woods until we finally reached the Dark Howl pack border."Wait." I raised my hand to stop everyone. We crouched behind the tall trees. Up ahead, I could see the patrolling guards. Ten of them, walking slowly, talking in low voices, not alert at all."Finish them." One command from me and I nodded at the small group of rogues I had sent ahead. They moved like shadows. Silent and Quick. One by one, they crept up behind the ten patrolling guards. One guard stood watch, yawning. He never felt the hand clamp over his mouth. Never saw the blade flash in the moonlight. A quick jerk—sharp and deep. His body sagged before he could make a sound. Another guard turned, sensing something wrong. Too late. A rogue was already behind him. One hand

«CLARA’S POV»The sun was still up in the sky yet the woods were too quiet. I stepped out of the last SUV, my boots crunching on dry leaves. We had stopped at a hidden spot not too far from Dark Howl Pack. The trees were thick here, and the wind moved in the opposite direction, keeping our scents covered. It was the safest place to camp before the fight. The area we camped in was a wide clearing covered in dry leaves. There were at least fifteen black SUVs parked around, some with their doors still open. Warriors were already scattered around the place. Some were sitting on stones and old tree trunks, eating packed food. Others were talking in low voices, trying to keep their spirits high. A few were checking their weapons. One was even telling jokes, and the others near him laughed, though it was easy to hear the tension beneath it.I walked beside Lusaka as we headed toward the center of the clearing. The moment the warriors saw us, they stood quickly and bowed. Even the ones who

Anyone who knew Adrian Blackwaters know he's ruthless and can be just as cruel. The silence stretched too long. Then a small voice from the back: "They took him to the cells." My blood went cold. I stepped forward, locking eyes with the female warrior who spoke. “Who did?”The female warrior stepped forward too, shaking but determined. "Marcus. Three nights ago. Said Ryan was a traitor." «ADRIAN’S POV»I drove back to Dark Howl Pack in silence. The road felt longer than before. My hands stayed tight on the wheel, my jaw locked the whole time. I didn’t want to think. I didn’t want to feel. Not right now.Driving through the forest, the trees blurring past my window. The closer I got to Pack, the heavier my chest felt. Finally, I reached the border and slowed down. The delta patrolling guards standing watch looked uneasy. Their eyes shifted between each other before landing on me. One of them even staggered back a little. I frowned but kept driving. Maybe they were just surprised to see me. I had been gone for days without notice.Still, something felt off. When I reached the packhouse, the feeling grew stronger. People stopped what they were doing. A group of young wolves training near the field all turned to look at me. I saw gasps. Some of them even bowed late like they didn’t expect me. He tilted his head, studying me. "Just like that?" I swallowed hard, my gaze flickering past him to where Clara still stood below in the training ground. "I told you. She’s yours to protect now."Lusaka surprised me then. He laughed—not his usual mocking chuckle, but something quieter. Almost tired. "Gods, you’re stubborn." He ran a hand through his hair. "You think I don’t see what this is costing you?"I didn’t answer. The truth sat like a stone in my throat: Everything. It’s costing me everything. Below us, Clara bent to pick up her water flask, her movements slower now. Exhausted. Lusaka followed my gaze, his voice dropping. "I’ll protect her, Adrian. You have my word." When I stiffened, he added, "Not because you asked. Because she’s worth protecting. After all, she's my wife." Something i
