Chapter 09

He gave me a cup of water and continued what he was doing when the woman together with the unknown man came. 

Both of them looks surprise when their eyes met mine. The woman closed and locked the door before calling Mathias to come, near them. 

"What's with her?" I heard her whispered when Mathias went closer. 

I saw Mathias shrugs his shoulder and turn his gaze on me before he led his mother inside the vacant space. 

The unknown man went to the sink and poured a water on his cup before he proceeds to talk. 

"Mariano knows that you're here, but Jeneva doesn't know about it. Mariano doesn't want his sister to get closer to you, you know that her daughter was dead right? She might be mistaking you as her daughter." 

This man is Jake, the man that Jeneva was talking about. 

Well, it's better. I wouldn't bother thinking that someone's life is in danger because of me, I wouldn't want to add more ins
