Rescuer

The weather was lovely today. Nightshades were situated in a valley and one could see mountains from the comfort of their home. The place was scenic. I was in the garden with the kids as they played around. Adam and Penny were playing chase as I strolled around the garden to shed the extra weight on my stomach. That is the best I could do in the name of exercise. I once had a flat flawless stomach, small boobs, narrow hips. But now after Penny’s birth, I have stretch marks on my slightly rounded belly, my boobs are bigger and my hips wider.

But you know what, I love these stretch marks. I wear them as a badge for they have come from something very beautiful. Penny is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is my reason for living. And I thank the Moon goddess for her and I thank him too. He has given me the best gift of my life. He unknowingly had made my life so worth living.
