Chapter 3

She opened her eyes slowly while her head was pounding. She furrowed her brow as she felt the unfamiliar ambiance of the room around her. She roamed her eyes around and was shocked when she saw a picture frame and recognized that the man in the picture was none other than Zeus. The thought that she and Zeus shared a room drained all of the colour from her face.

Can someone please wake her up if this was some kind of nightmare?

She immediately ran out of the room to escape, and when she found the door out of the house, she immediately turned it open, but she stopped when suddenly someone spoke.

"Where do you think you're going?" The nostalgic owner of that voice stopped her. She immediately turned to face Zeus. She gasped when she saw Zeus only wearing an apron and khaki shorts.

With a taunting look on Zeus's face, he asked, "Are you eying raping me?"

Because of what she heard, she immediately averted her eyes and said, "In your dreams, anyway, why am I here at your house?"

"I brought you here because you were drunk last night and I don't know your address, so I have no choice but to take you here to my penthouse," Zeus said as if it was nothing.

"What about Claire?" Zeus didn't answer Freya's question, instead he handed her something.

"Here, drink it to get rid of your headache and also take a bath because you stink already. I have prepared a t-shirt and clean boxer in my room. You can use it" Zeus said in an authoritative voice As if she would obliged.

"I don't want to. I want to go home. And why doesn't this door open? She said, while forcing the door to open.

"It's a fingerprint lock, so it means you can't leave until you don't follow what I said, so you choose." Zeus has this mischievous smile while saying those words.

"Fine!" She stomped her feet while walking away and immediately went to Zeus's room.

When she entered the room, she immediately took a bath and then got dressed. She left the room and went to the kitchen because she could not find Zeus in the living room.

When she entered the kitchen, she saw Zeus was cooking, so she spoke to get his attention.

"I want to go home," she said immediately, as Zeus turned to face her.

"You need to eat first," Zeus said calmly to her.

"Are you playing with me, Zeus? Why are you doing this? I thought you were mad at me? " She said angrily.

"Who says I'm playing? I'm just treating you well, besides you're my daughter's mother, "Zeus said while looking at her.

"W-What?" Her heart was pounding so fast as Zeus slowly walked towards her.

"Relax, I'm just joking unless it was true hmm?" Zeus said and caressed her cheeks.

"You and your assumptions again, I made it clear already," she said, and she immediately averted her eyes away from Zeus because she was intimidated by how he looked at her. It's like he was reading her mind.

"Ok then let's eat" Zeus immediately left in front of her and sat down at the dining table.

She sat down too and ate, and she still couldn't forget what Zeus said earlier. She was sure that Zeus was up to something, and she needed to find out soon.

While they were eating, the doorbell suddenly rang. Annoyed, Zeus got up from his seat to open the door.

"Why don't you let me in, brother-" Selene didn't finish her sentence as she suddenly noticed her.

"Omg, Freya! What are you doing here? " She saw how Selene was surprised.

"Hi" was all she could say. She was also shocked by Selene's presence, because she hadn't seen it in years.

Selene immediately approached her and hugged her. "It's nice to see you again. I missed you so much. " Selene giggles.

"It's nice to see you too," Freya said as she hugged her.

"Is that why my older brother doesn't want to let me in because she wants some privacy? Selene said teasingly to Zeus.

"It's not what you think, Selene, and can you please leave already? " I could see in Zeus's face that he was annoyed with Selene's presence.

"Why are you so grumpy, brother? I just came here because mom wants to give you this," Selene said while handing a brown folder to Zeus.

Zeus immediately accepted it. "Now go; you know how to get out, right?"

"Whatever," Selene said, when she saw Selene roll her eyes at Zeus. She smiled because Selene always teased Zeus ever since.

"Bye, Freya. Let's just catch up some other time, ok? " She nodded in response. And Selene left.

Zeus turned to her and said, "Finish your food. I'll just get dressed and I'll take you home. "

"You don't need to-" She didn't finish what she was about to say when Zeus suddenly left.

She sighed and continued eating. After she finished eating, she immediately went to the living room to wait for Zeus. Minutes had passed and Zeus finished getting dressed.

"Let's go," Zeus said, and she just followed.

When they entered the elevator, Zeus suddenly handed her a jacket, and she looked at it with obvious confusion on her face, because why would Zeus give her a jacket when it's clearly a sunny day?

"Wear this, your nipple is visible." She immediately looked at her chest and gasped, because Zeus was right. So she immediately put on the jacket that Zeus gave her.

"Thank you," she said shyly. Zeus just nodded. She was embarrassed about what happened, so she just stayed silent, praying that Zeus wouldn't tease her.

Not until Zeus spoke. "Don't be embarrassed, it's not that I didn't see that already," Zeus said, with a teasing smile on his face.

"The audacity of you saying that," she said, while still embarrassed by what Zeus said. Zeus just laughed while pointing at her cheek.

"You're blushing," Zeus said, laughing.

"You stop or I'll punch you." She said, trying to threaten Zeus.

"Fine, I will," Zeus said, trying to suppress a laugh. When the elevator opened, she immediately went out. She didn't care which direction she was walking; she just wanted to get away from Zeus because of the embarrassment she was feeling, but she suddenly stopped when someone held her hand.

"Where are you going? That's not the way. " Zeus pulled her towards his car, and she immediately got into it because she wanted to go home.

While Zeus is driving, she just sits quietly in the passenger seat. But when she noticed that her purse bag was missing, she immediately asked Zeus about it.

"Do you see my purse?" Zeus immediately answered her.

"No, and I didn't see your purse when I took you home drunk last night."

When she heard the word drunk, she immediately looked at Zeus and asked.

"Did I do something stupid?" While waiting for Zeus to say something, she was praying that he would say no.

"Yeah, you kiss me," Zeus said, startling her.

"What? Are you sure I did that? She asked, hoping that Zeus' answer would change.

"Yes, and I understand why you kissed me. You were just drunk that time. " Zeus said, as if that would help her with the embarrassment she felt.

"That's why I hate drinking." She said and slapped her forehead because of the stupidity she committed.

When they arrived at her house, she immediately got out of the car and opened the gate, but Zeus stopped her.

"Wait, I'll be expecting you on the site tomorrow. I want to discuss with you what I want to change, especially in the gazebo, and I want you to take care of it and not be late. I want you in time, okay. " Zeus said in a bossy tone, Well, she can't do anything. He's the boss.

"Ok, noted," Freya said and entered her house.

But when she entered the house, she saw Nanny Belen was crying, so she immediately approached her.

"What's wrong, yaya?" Where is Astraea? She asked nervously. Yaya Belen immediately turned to face her.

Yaya Belen said, crying. "Ma'am Freya, Ms. Beth rushed Astraea to the hospital."

"W-What? Why? What happened? Her body was shaking with fear as she asked,

"Astraea fell down the stairs while playing, so Ms. Beth rushed to take Astraea to St. John Hospital." When she heard what Nanny Belen said, she immediately ran outside while crying to follow Astraea in the hospital, but to her surprise, she saw Zeus was still there outside the gate.

"What happened? Why are you crying? " Zeus said, worryingly.

"A-Astraea is in the hospital," she said while sobbing.

"Get in the car." Zeus immediately drives the car.Her body was trembling because of the fear she was feeling. Hang in there, Astraea. Mommy and Daddy are coming.
