Alton's POV

I stayed quiet during the whole argument and when Solana leave the table I decided to leave as well.

I thought I could step out of the kitchen but my father spoke.

"Can help us convince your sister to marry Hunter?" he asked. I let out a deep breath and then faced him.

"Don't involve me in your mess Dad. Besides Solana is old enough to decide for herself so why are forcing her to marry someone she doesn't like?" I asked looking at him with annoyance.

"Hunter is a good man beside if Solana marries Hunter then she can learn so much in business and she can have a stable life," he reasoned. I looked at him in disbelief.

"I can teach Solana everything about business if that's all you care about and mind you Dad Solana has a career and she can support herself without your help," I said. My father looked at me in disbelief as if I betrayed him or something.

"Solana will marry Hunter, Alton. You can leave if you don't want to help," Solana's mother butted in and I felt anger surge
