[DIANA’s Point of View]

“Devon! Where have you been!”

I was surprised when my twin brother entered the room with Uncle Liam marching angrily behind him. Devon’s eyes were dark and looked upset as well, and I was so confused about what was happening.

“I thought you were just going to the bathroom when you woke up,” I said to him in surprise as I watched Devon slump on the edge of his bed with Uncle Liam glaring down at him. I got scared of what was happening, so I asked, “What is happening, Uncle Liam? Did Devon do something stupid again?”

“Don’t talk like that, Diana! I am still two minutes older than you.” Devon scowled at me.

I was shocked at Devon’s response to me, and I felt like crying because my feelings were hurt. But then I scowled at him too and curled my hands into fists and rested them on my hips. Now it was Uncle Liam and me glaring down at him, and Devon’s upset face slowly changed into a scared puppy.
